    question for you or anyone with experience: Due to multiple injuries and working at a job in the past that I sat down and used arms all day, My upper body is in a lot better shape than my lower body. I want to catch my legs up with the rest of my body but I'm not very keen on not training my upper body at all cuz I don't wanna lose the gains I already have. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

    • @Cwillz303
      @Cwillz303 10 лет назад +1

      Ok: Here's a bare bones 7-day plan which you can loop and expand on as needed. If you do appropriate weight and reps for your size & fitness it'll kick your ass but it'll get your legs to catch up fast:
      Monday: Leg Day. Start working with squats, as well as leg press, calf raises, and some running
      Tuesday: Chest Day: Bench press, dumbbell press, incline and decline bench, flys, pushups & dips
      Wed: Your second leg day. More squats w/ weight (but lighter), then bodyweight squats, then throw in some secondary excercises (leg extension, etc)
      Thurs: Back Day. Heavy focus on deadlift, because not only is that (in my and many other more experienced lifters) the best back exercise, but also they do involve some use of legs, as a bonus.
      Friday: Arm day; I'm sure you can fill in this blank
      Saturday: Final leg day; this should just be some heavy squats & some running
      Sunday: Day off. Rest, stretch, ice up any twinges, go for a dip in a hot tub to relax, maybe.
      Good luck. The most important thing you can do is start (and *continue*) to work out your lower body.

    • @matanelkayam8537
      @matanelkayam8537 10 лет назад +1

      working out your legs 2 times a week will not make you lose upper body gains, but if you realy wanna make strong gains you need to combine chest and leg the same day, 2-3 times a week, squat heavy. bench heavy, deadlift heavy, good luck!
