    "Friends don't let friends skip leg day."
    The first rule of Leg Day is: You do not skip leg day. The second rule of Leg Day is: You do *NOT* skip Leg Day. Third rule of Leg Day: Someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, the set is over. Fourth rule: only one guy to a set. Fifth rule: one set at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: shirts are okay; flat shoes are a plus. Seventh rule: Leg Day will go on as long it has to to produce gains. And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first time doing Leg Day, you have to do squats.

    Idk if its just me but just a suggestion, if you could a few times a week show what your meals consist of? Almost like a vlog of the day but just meals and your workout? Motivates me and keeps me on track when I see you giving nutrition examples :) thanks Steve

    exactly. i like the feeling of pain for some reason. i actually hate training a bodypart that does not get sore or painful. well, except for my traps though. the pain from shrugs is just annoying

    u dont see many fitness models who are flexible enough to touch their toes with straight legs. Clearly ur training partner is very useful at helping you keep ur body in good condition

    converse, unlike ur traditional nike and new balance running shoes, have a completely flat bottom and isn't arched. it promotes pushing through ur heels more, leading to more quad and overall leg engagement.

    Hey Steve, have you ever tried flexing the glutes (pelvic thrust almost) when you're up on the concentric motion in your squats? If so whats your thoughts on it? and would recommend it?

    I wish the camera man would show us more of the legs during the squat so we can see the form, the tight shots of steve's torso (while much appreciated) leave me guessing to the form.

    STEVE! I HEARD STRETCHING BEFORE WORKING OUT WEAKENS THE MUSCLE LEAVING ABOUT 30% WEAKER THAN IT WAS PRE-STRETCH! PERHAPS JUST WARMING UP IS BEST FOR LEGS?

    it elevates your heels which allows you to go lower and get a better range of motion and i think focus on quads more

    you might be using too much weight. when you squat, do u tend to lean forwards slightly as you come back up. I do this when i have too much weight on the bar and its a sign that im going too heavy if i cant keep good form

    Talk about squat form please, correct spine allignment would call for head down and steve said head up... elaborate please?

      Head up is proper squat form

      Keep your head up, but keep it neutral with the spine. You should be looking at yourself in the mirror, but you shouldn't be looking up at the ceiling.

      Correct, keeping your head forward not up is correct form. Looking up puts stress on your neck you don't want that.

    i use leg-press ! Cannot do squats because i have scoliosis ! I tried doing them and the next day my back hurt like hell !

    Your lower back problem is from your converse. I know because I had the same problem. They have absolutely no support in them shoes.

      explain how converse effects your lower back when squatting? flat footed shoes are best to squat in, also the high top converses have a bit of ankle support.

    I'm not a pro and definitely not as educated as Steve by I'm pretty sure hyper flexing in any workout (pelvic thrusts) isn't helpful and can lead to injury. That goes for squats and dead lifts.

    i can touch my toes comfortably but i would say 60-70% of the people i know cant. i think if you tend to know more sporty people more of them will bed able to touch their toes. However, what i meant with my comment was that generally alot of people do weight training and dont stretch enough which causes their muscles to shorten and they lose flexibility, but clearly steve knows the importance of staying flexible

    Do you realize the final frame with your name and Physical-Mental-Spiritual , actually spells PMS ? maybe you should consider changing the order. Lets face it Physical should come later anyway, because if you won't put your mind to it in the first place and aspire or have some direction or goals, it would be harder achieving them.
