Willie Mason is a former Kangaroo and NSW representative, is considered one of the most successful front rowers in NRL history. In 2004, he was a part of the famous 'Dogs of War' team that won the Grand Final, and he also received the Clive Churchill Medal during that match.
Justin Horo is a former NRL player who played 120 games for Parramatta and Manly from 2010 to 2015. In addition to playing in the UK Super League, he also represented the New Zealand Māori team.

If you have a look at Cheikas Union career he has took on teams that have the players but have hit a rut. He came in and surrounded himself with the right staff who developed a specific gameplan and he managed the players to be able to deliver it. I actually really want him to get the job because thats where our team is at.
Seen the og as a speaker at a conference in Orange, can tell a story , was to scared to say congrats on the 25 and up the wahs , as the crowd was a older one and didn't know if they would get the shout ! Great work OG

Got a question about what appeared to be a referee trying to change the momentum of the Warriors game. Warriors were up 14-0 and the reff blew two penalties to Melbourne both were challenged by the Wahs and over turned by the bunker as successful challenges. Shortly after the reff blew a penalty for not square which apparently you can’t challenge and reff clearly knew this. I have replayed the footage and both markers are clearly square. Do you think this is something that the reffs do because it seems way to out there to be a coincidence. While the Warriors defence was terrible this was a critical point in the game and a momentum shifter. Thoughts? Love your work lads, Muddas

Hey boys love the podcast been following use for a min now ..Question this has to have been the first time in years where I seen majority of players rush back to clubland to back up or even start for there supposed club teams after origin - do u think it’s good for the players (originstars) to be rushing back or is it that tight on competition for jerseys they feel they had too ? Excluding 18th man obviously.ive always loooked at origin time a time to see new talent come through or better yet see the bottom half of the comp get some much needed points under the belt or just plain old wins ? Thoughts boys Ps OG horo your running has inspired me to start running 5KM a day -grateful for your inspo brother ❤️

2 really good questions guys. First, do you agree with me that the bunker is getting so many plays wrong because they are trying to go too fast? I can handle a ref mistake on the fly but the bunker is doing my head in. And second question, what does Ivan Cleary have to do to get mentioned in the same conversations as Bellamy and Robinson? He doesn’t seem to get any mention when people talk top tier coaches and he is absolutely elite, he has done much more than Robinson in my opinion. Cheers boys loving the poddy
I like the panthers not getting much chat, just going about the work quietly achieving means the players, coaches and staff are putting the club first.
The panthers aren't finished, they have been poached to death but still keep showing up, Ivan is building a legacy to be very proud of.
I reckon cheikas is the way to go.
Hey boys. What can be done to stop players staying down and trying to get a penalty when they feel accidental contact to the legs or ankles? Watching players stay down trying to con the refs is such a bad a look for the game - and a dog act against your fellow professionals. Herbie Farnworth (Sharks game in the Nicho Hynes tackle) and Spencer Leniu (Origin 1 in the Mo Fotuaika tackle) are 2 recent examples where they carried on to the point where I was sure they were badly hurt - only to get up and play the ball with no injury at all. Is there room for the RLPA to broker a gentleman's agreement between all players - where defending players agree to do everything they can to avoid heavy contact to the legs - in return for the attacking player not trying to sell an injury. I feel like we need that Robbo call-out from 10 years ago - when everyone was staying down looking for the high tackle penalty - he challenged the game to ask itself what type of game we want to be!
If you stay down after a tackle you must leave the field for 5 minutes to be cleared by medical staff?

I agree with Gus, why do we need an analytical coach who is implementing the gameplan? Thats what your assistants are for and thats why they get paid. We need a coach who is a leader and is going to get the players to a point of mental clarity and ready to fire. I dont think any of the other candidates provide that.

Port Moresby is a very dangerous place, especially at night. Perth first then PNG when they get their city under control.

6:00 Mitchell Pearce also married a Muslim partner, which helps him move away from all the alcohol and other rubbish he use to take that gave him a bad reputation, also good to hear Toddy Carney is doing good aswell, both superstar players in their prime before doing dumb things that ruined their careers, we all learn from our past and move on in life, good to see the lads doing well. There will still be keyboard heroes who will always bring that toxic ish up whenever those guys get spoken about, but best to just brush them aside.

It was done to stop PNG from allowing China to dock at their border. So it was done to protect Australian security at a national level. PNG agreed to disallow that arrangement with China to occur if Australia granted then a PNG rugby team. That's why it happened and happened so fast
