Congratulation on completing day 2. The bike got scratched but you did not and that a good thing. It is really surprising that these training classes are not more available everywhere or maybe better said more places. I know you follow them. The folks in Va. have a wonderful operation called "Cone Camp" where they have scheduled a day on the weekend to work on these skills and patterns galore. You should try to put that on your bucket list to attend one weekend. Good luck on completing day 3 and congratulations in advance. You got this!
Congratulations on successfully completing day 2 Cue! I'm glad Pensacola HD took care of you under duress. You're gaining great confidence with each class and you becoming a much better rider. Thanks for sharing with us. Eric
In 20 years of riding I've never dropped my bikes. I get practicing, and I would probably not ace some of these circus courses, but in real life riding these tight situations are rare and avoidable. I'll spend 15 seconds going around a block to avoid a sharp u-turn which may not even be legal to avoid hundreds in potential damage if I drop. I'll take the massive stopping power of my DCT Wing over low speed maneuvering as I consider it much more life saving. Just my thought.
Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely interested to see if there's one up here in the north east but I'm trying to go to see Robert first preload and keep it loaded. 👊😎👏
I have a 2016 Road Glide and a 2009 FLHP Road King aka police bike. It's a world of difference. The Road King leans and handles so much better. Yeah, it's a high seat, I think 34 inches vs 28 inches? But that high seat really makes a difference when you're doing slow speed and rodeo style maneuvers.
I think they are more difficult for me because I don't do right hand u-turns. I'm going to force myself to practice them more, I don't want them to be an impediment for many in the future
Actually I think 3 or 4 had already been through the course. Some people said they repeated because it helps them to sharpen their skills. I can envision myself taking it again (even though I completed it)
If you never drop your bike in slow speed practice then your not pushing your skill limits. A few scars on the bike. I'm putting saddlebag guards on my CVO Street Glide for just those reasons. Drops will happen. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
Great question! I will find out before I purchase them for my Street Glide. Some of the bikes that fell went all the way on their side potentially damaging more than saddlebags. The saddlebag guards can protect your mufflers too. My stock mirror (attached to the fairing) popped off. Some of the training bikes for the MSF course have handlebar "protectors" on them.
Very good Cue! If you're not dropping, your not learning!
In that case, I learned alot!!
You can zip tie some thick car heater hose to your bars to prevent damage too.
I honestly didn't think I would drop my bike! The good thing about a class like this is that it humbled you a bit
Great job Cue!

Day 3 finale will be posted sometime tomorrow! I'm glad it's over....I'm tired!

Thanks Eric! The journey has just begun...I plan to take another class this year....until then, practice practice practice!
Excellent school, I love it. Hey, I thought you had motorcycle drop guards for your bike.
I have them on my Road Glide. I waited too late to get them for the Street Glide.
Thanks again Cue for taking the time to share.
My pleasure!
Hey Cue, good call on the painters tape and duct tape overlay. Looks like Drop Guards are on my wishlist. Nice video review as well - thanks 🙏🏻
Wish I had put the tape on my lower fairings!
That boy said f that...I'm taking off my bags! Lol 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
You know it!!! Then bags are not cheap!
I'm gone need you to take better care of that Street Glide Sir. Respect the BatWing!
That bat wing was laying on its side like a little baby!
Great video Sir. Excellent quality. Look forward to watching your progress..
Thank you!

Make it happen!
Good stuff! 👍
Thanks for sharing Cue looking forward to riding with you. I really want to do this class. I love the dedication keep up the good work.
Absolutely! The class is definitely worth it! Go for it!
@@RidingandWrenching Are you going to Robert’s March 12
@@andrewschultz2504 yes, I will be there! Hope to see you there! I'll probably bring the street glide this time
I am in NH, looking at the NY or PA training. Thanks for the influence (push)
Go for it!
Very nice Cue!!!
Thanks!!
Mike I’m confused. You’ve done the keyhole successfully several times going left. Why do you say it was your first time trying it here?
I never tried the keyhole to the right (clockwise) I had only practiced (with limited success) counterclockwise

I am buying a police seat. I'll test it on my Street Glide
I want to take this class so bad.
Highly recommended! In the mean time, get some cones and practice as often as you can
Right hand u turns are harder for me, not sure why that is. I need to practice them more for sure

Did the gentleman on his third time attending make it through

I need to get saddlebag guards for my Street Glide. I also bought drop guards. I'll have them on before my next course
@@RidingandWrenching The drop guards look nice as well.
Cue..is there a difference between crash bars for extended bags and standard bags

@@RidingandWrenching Thanks brother !!
👍🏿
Now all you need are real bikes !!!
I have a Harley! What else could a fella need?😂
It’s the straight roads you have. I’m a transverse twin kind of guy. 👍
