- (Part Three) In today's video I wake up right at 7am to make my boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind and to start stacking up lighting lanes to use throughout my park day. Once I make it to Epcot it's non stop with riding all of my favorite attractions including spaceship earth, living with the land, soarin, character meet and greets, test track and cosmic rewind. I also noticed a common trend with multiple attractions breaking down very frequently. Finally, I announce a fun giveaway at the end of the video and I will pick the winner on 6-18-2024. Disney needs to stop using all the money from the Parks to prop up their poor Disney+ shows and movies and start investing in keeping their rides updated and working.
They don't have a choice, unfortunately. The other subsidiaries wouldn't survive without taking from parks.

I've noticed all the ride breakdowns lately. Remy was down pretty much for most of the day when we went and same thing with Pirates. It was so frustrating when you pay so much money.
Not defending them at all, but this is unfortunately what happens when you have a park that operates year round. There's no time for the rides to have a break.

As much as we love Disney, its time to Boycott modern Disney until they get the message. Money is the only language they understand.

that’s the BEST part about staying at a disney resort, the convenience of leaving mid day taking a break/nap and going back whenever you want! you got it right dev!!!
And you forgot to add that add that once your there staying on property you have transportation and not longer need to drive until you checkout and head home and save paying $30 for parking per park.

spaceship earth stops alot because they are loading guests with wheelchairs at the unload area, doing supervise children policies at load, and there are intrusions bc guests drop stuff or jump out.
That’s not a majority but part of it

I was a cast member as well back in 2015. I'm from Brazil, and I never got the chance to go back to Walt Disney World since then, so watching your vlogs in the parks always brings back the best memories of my life. So glad to see you back at Disney and thank you for sharing it with us! ♥

You are one of the only Disney vloggers that is honest about problems at Disney. Everyone else kisses their butt and is afraid to say they ever do anything wrong. I’m wondering if you would ever care to address the new problem with the DAS pass. No criticism if you don’t want to. It is now only for minor children with autism. The saddest thing I’ve ever seen is that veterans are now being denied disability accommodations. Disney has always had a good long-standing relationship with the military, but hundreds of veterans have been denied the DAS pass since the rules have changed. It appears there’s been a lot of rudeness and ugliness directed towards them when they join the video chat and share their needs. Just a thought that people would appreciate hearing your take on it.
Rides rarely broke down before this management group got in. They are so cheap, someone predicted this to me and it’s happening.
It starts with ride breakdowns, then the injuries and deaths usually start happening at their parks. Last time it was this much despair people gotten beheaded from the Colombia ship incident at Disneyland and disfigured from rides not up to safety standards on maintenance. Latest was the speakers and light poles falling on guests at Disneyland from the rust rotting at the foundation of the pole until they toppled over on people.
PcDev, I agree with you on taking a step back from disney for a while. I personally do not agree with a lot of the decisions and choices they have been making the last few years. I know some things need to change to a point just because of progress, but a lot of the other choices they have made, in my opinion, didn't need to. But I can't do anything about it, I still like disney, and I will go back eventually, but for now, I need to step aside

Sometimes I feel the rides stop because stupid people do stupid things and ruin it for the rest of us. The last time we were at Walt Disney World, alot of teenagers were messing around trying to get on and off so they could get that photo or video to share on their phones.

Spaceship Earth is absolutely terrible for downtime. Very very rarely have I ever gone on it where the ride didn't stop, usually for more than just a couple of minutes. I understand that sometimes guests need more time getting on and off but not that much time. They need to shut this attraction down and redo it. It's also very rough even though it's a slow ride.
Great Vlog🙌 My family and I cancelled all our APs and just take one StayCation each year. We go all out (Premier Resort, Club Level) … this year we picked Universal. Sorry WDW, im not ready to give you money yet.

I think sometimes the rides stops because some of the guests need assistance to get on the ride or probably they left some items on the ride. Even at universal too

Have no interest in Disney since they’ve gone completely off the rails woke (just look at what they’re doing to Star Wars among many other things). This is coming from someone who vacationed to WDW almost 15 times over the years. I’m now a Universal person who went there the last years in a row.
Can you elaborate on what they’re doing to Star Wars?
@@seandp85Just most recently, they seem to like hiring people for their Star Wars Disney+ shows (as well as their movies) that have no business or qualifications to be at the helm of the something like this. Most recently, the creator of the new show, “The Acolyte,” bragging during an interview that it’s the “Gayest Star Wars Yet.” In regards to their movies, out of all the creators and directors in the world, Disney has decided to put the next movie in the hands of Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy who was quoted as saying her goal for the new movie is to “to make men feel uncomfortable.” There’s more but I don’t feel like going on and on. For some reason Disney just seems intent on destroying their own franchises and IP which is part of the reason Pixar’s latest movies have all been bombing.
Great video Dev. Thanks for coming back. As you were saying take a break from Disney, I was writing this and thinking, yes, a break from Disney is sometimes needed when not agreeing on the way they’re doing things. The Goofy and Mickey pic are awesome! 👏🏽
The opening for Tiana's Bayou Adventure is having issues too with it breakdown for hours and only getting a few minutes in before it breaks down again. Both DLR and WDW are dealing with bad to no maintenance issues on the rides at the parks compared to TDR. Tokyo is the ultimate Disney Park nowadays since the US Disney Parks are falling down in removal of entertainment, maintenance issues, ride breakdowns, refurbishment, construction areas and more making the park ticket price not worth the admission.

Thanks for a great video. I can understand your frustration. We usually go to Disneyland once a year and last Halloween just felt like a bust. We did Oogie Boogie Bash and it felt nothing like what is portrayed by all of the vloggers. I told my husband I needed a break from Disney this year. I'm thinking Hollywood Horror nights. A friend said to go to Hollywood first because if you go to Orlando first then you'll be disappointed in Hollywood.

Remember in 2019/2020 when Disney announced that they were going to renovate and modernize Spaceship Earth? Covid struck and we never heard of those plans again. I call that a travesty.
We were there last week and at Hollywood Studios on Thursday (June 6th). Rise of the Resistance was down first thing before even the park opened for Early Magic Hours. Took 2 hours to fix.
Hey Dev, just a question about booking a Universal Rssort Orlando vacation... I'm thinking about booking one for late August 2025, but it's too early to book. Next question is I'm thinking about booking a Disney Cruise for the same time. What is more worth it? I know everyone is different, but I'd like your take. It's for my wife's 40th birthday which is this September, but it'd be for next year.

Omg! Dev I can’t definitely relate because I used to be a cast member at Epcot and now I’m a crew member at Disney Cruise Line & I gotta say that I enjoy working for the cruise but it’s not the same as being in the parks at Walt Disney World. I still have friends that work inside the park and it’s really great that I’ve build those great friendships during that 1st year on working at 3 parks which is Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios & Epcot.❤🎉
I like Guardians but I like Space Mountain too. I wish Disney would add to their parks instead of destroying established and well-loved rides. The parks are so crowded, they need more rides, not replacements. Thanks for a great day at EPCOT!
I’m going in August. First time I’ve been in 15 years. And I’m taking my 5 year old daughter. I’m a little bit nervous about trying to understand all the Genie+ and Lightning Lane stuff but videos like this help. There’s no way I’m missing out on Cosmic Rewind and Tron!

Genie + at Epcot can save quite a bit of time with most of the non-IP rides maintaining 30-minute standby lines. G+ turns those rides into near walk-ons.
Long time subscriber, did the dcp in '11 & '13. And it's been over 10 yrs since I've been to Disney! I absolutely cannot wait til I go again, just so I can get that feeling again!
My husband and a I fell in love with Disney again on May 22. We did 3 parks in 3 days. It had been 6 years since our last visit. Guardians put the Disney Magic obsession back in our lives! So glad you are back in the magic game as well!!
I was in Disney a month a go. I´been in Soarin, and of course we had a breakdown. Unfortunately, we couldn't do Guardians, i almost cry for that. Miss you in Disney. you are the best!

Disney in Orlando needs a whole new upgrade from the front to the back of the park. They still have rides from the 60’s lol 😂 just kidding I don’t know if they still do but I remember all of those rides from the 90s and it’s boring I will not take my toddler there unless there is change
