It’s also a toxic work environment. The supervisors in my warehouse are always getting into physical and verbal alterations with each other setting a bad example. If they want to keep employees, they need to start treating them like people. My particular supervisors were good bosses to me but the other ones treated me like a slave. Everyday they are sending me to help out station to station since we are really short on employees. I have a feeling UPS is going to go out of business sooner or later the more they lose employees unless the higher ups at the headquarters wake their blind asses up and actually do something about the problem. Until then, UPS will continue to run like a shitshow by being low staffed as they are about to lose another employee.

I work at the Dallas Texas UPS hub. My story is similar. I’ve been there since November. And I was a fast worker. Except I’m a preloader. The start time for us is supposed to be 4am. Peak season we had to come in at 2am and we would leave around 9:30-10am. I would ask my supervisor to give me accommodations by letting me come in later like 3am since I worked double shifts and I needed extra sleep since I wouldn’t come home from my second job until 11pm at night. He was alright about it at first. I walk in once, some other supervisor out front come up to me and asks me “why are you late.” I told him that I already explained to my main supervisor to give me accommodations so I can rest more. He had the audacity to tell me “you keep doing this, you won’t have a job anymore.” I was ready to go off on that POS since he wasn’t my supervisor or any of the higher ups as it wasn’t any of his business. Three weeks ago I had my 652 dollar check lost. And my other one was lost a week later. I asked my supervisor about it and he made it seem like I was begging for something for free. He wasn’t helpful about it at all. I had to go to the office myself to try to get the checks. The union rep or whatever they are had to do a stop payment for whatever reason and I agreed to it. Three weeks later I still don’t have my checks. Needless to say, my last day is on Wednesday. I told them that I wanted all my checks by next week and if I don’t receive them, I am getting involved with the law. It’s been crazy. Bye bye UPS

I've worked warehouse jobs like fedex, amazon, dhl, mubea over 7 years and UPS has been the worst experience so far.. I unload in the warehouse and they are always trying to push you over 6 hours being part time and the pay is horrible. My unload area only has like 4 people unloading 40 trucks its fucking madness bro lol

I quit after 5 months. My sups were cool as hell but I have a feeling some of it was to gas me up andkeep me motivated to stay. I'd unload trailers 5/6/7 hours then at the end I'd have to help load the trucks because the loaders wouldn't do anything and the full timers would go on break before the next shift and leave a hell hole. There's working hard and then there's taking advantage of someone. I couldn't fall asleep for hours after my shift because of how much pain I was in. The harder you work the harder they work you. Peak season broke me. I got another job and just let them know I'm done. Wish my coworkers and sups the best but I'm out and not looking back lmao

Bro thank you for making this video. I got hired as a seasonal driver and after 1 week of training the manager came to me and asked me if I can do pre loader job overnight because they don't have enough supervisors. what a liar!! Also, they offer free health insurance after 9 months of working. Well of course your body by that time will be stressed out and need to see a doctor lol

      That’s how it is unfortunately.
It’s like even if you’re well groomed and dress professionally, if the supervisors or future coworkers show no interest in you, you’re already dismissed and targeted.
When I started I went in with full intentions of getting to know people and soak up knowledge, respecting everyone.
I got nothing in return but empty “whatever” stares and told by my supervisor -
“I don’t expect much from you.”
Now I’m the top guy but in my way out and I’ll return the line to him -
“I don’t expect much to change from this company nor scumbags like you.”
      Fuck usps.

Yep,, I've been there many decades and the way the management treats everyone is horrible. I do my job, run their numbers, call in once every 4 years on average....yet still get treated like the most pathetic animal. Somehow it's like a cancer that spreads wild. Still a good job though, that's why I stay and ignore their attitude. After decades I don't think they can intimidate this good employee.

I loaded for five years at UPS an most times was in a trailer by myself, on top of that being a top loader loading at least 500pph every night. Follow your heart man most jobs are basically using you its just up to you how much you let them use you.

3:15 Healthcare insurance covers injuries dude. From eye injuries, sprains, broken bones. Being healthy doesn't prevent these type of things. Just like being a good driver doesn't mean you don't get car insurance when you drive everyday. 😑
