These really resound with me, particularly with your points about having to make time to have fun and enjoy life! It's so easy to get caught up in it all, and suddenly you realise that you're not actually doing things that make you happy. Thanks for reminding me!

Soon entering my early twenties, I really appreciate this video. The most important part for me is definitely allowing myself to be a fool, and take risks. I met a similar Lisa at some random bar in Croatia, and he was calling me off on being too serious. At first I felt offended, but now in retrospect he was kinda right, being happy is being brave enough to be silly:)

I am 22 currently and if I have any bit of advice it is that - sometimes when you're going through a rough patch- whether it be external circumstances (like family stuff, relationship breakdowns) or more internal (like self criticism or lack of self-worth due to failing at a relationship/exam) -- whatever it is know that : nothing lasts forever
A lot of shit happened in my life last year like my grandad died and I had a awful breakup and still I kept thinking of the impermanence of life - and how it will all end one day, and I don't know maybe that's morbid but to me it is liberating
When you realise you only have a finite amount of time I think it puts a lot of life into perspective --> I think it makes you want to be braver like you said - take more risks, be silly! and also more kinder too bc you never know how much time you have with people
So that's my favourite mantra - "nothing lasts forever".
it's sort of stolen from this emily dickison quote: “That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet.”
anyway thanks for this video and best of luck with everything :)
