    Excellent pack. I recently bought it to replace a very old Osprey Talon 22 for my Albsteig Schwarzwald walk. The pack is typical Deuter high quality and was very comfortable to wear. The pockets on the shoulder straps are a great addition. The zipped pocket held my smartphone and the other held my reading glasses and snack bar.

    Weird request but can you guys at trekkit make a video about the KEB 30 from Fjällräven. I know y’all love Fjällräven, but its hard to find a vid about it and if its useful for Overnighter.
    Regardless if its done or not, you guys are awesome! Love the videos and cant even emphasize enough how well y’all described what a soft shell is (hardest topic to discuss)

      I'm afraid it isn't a bag we stock, sorry! Thank you for the kind words though.

    is it possible to fit a camera clip to this shoulder strap?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Месяц назад

      In theory it would be possible, but due to the vest style harness you may have to attach the camera clip a little higher than you'd like so it may not sit comfortably.

    Hi thanks for the video, i ma looking for this , osprey sportlite 25 and gregory kiro 28 to use to travdl too, what do you think?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  3 дня назад +1

      All of them would be good options for travel, offering pretty similar features . The Gregory does have a little more space that could prove useful. The Osprey has two back length options, which might assist in getting a comfortable fit, the other two have fixed back lengths so will be slightly less adjustable, but should still fit all but the longest and shortest torsos. The Speed lite also has a running vest style harness, so may be a more comfortable carry with slightly better quick access pockets.

    The worst thing about this bag is the way they route hydration hose through the bag. It requires the hose to point down as it exits the bag, which then has to turn back up to follow the contour of the shoulder strap which makes it likely to kink and severely hinders your ability to drink out of the tube. Design fail.

      There is no included rain cover with the Deuter Speed Lite 25, it's one you would have to buy separately.

    Futura 27
    Trail 25
    What’s is better??? For every day

    • @trekitt

      Unless you're adamant on having the Aircomfort back system on the futura we'd say it is probably between the Speedlite and the Trail for everyday, they'll be a little more compact if commuting with them. For us the straps on the Trail take a slight win for everyday too over the more vest style straps on the Speedlite, so the Trail takes the win as an every day pack in our books, but we don't think you can go far wrong with any of them and if you plan on using it hiking or fastpacking as well then your choice might lead you more towards one of the others.
      You can shop the Trail here: tinyurl.com/Deuter-Trail

    What an excellent video again. You guys rock. Looking for a new pack to do a 55km, 34miles, on flat surface this summer. Do you think this will be comfortable enough?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! The Speed Lite 25 should be up to task, or for something a little more supportive you could also look at the Deuter Trail 25, a slightly more fully featured pack. Good luck on the trail!

      @@trekitt any thoughts on the futura 23 or 27? I like the ventilation it offers and it has all the features you could wish. The weight not that much of an issue. I prefer comfort over weight most of the times.

      @@wouterrombouts9347 Whilst we don't stock the Futura, it does look very similar to the older model which we were very fond of. Always found it to be comfortable and supportive. Deuter's Aircomfort back system has always proven to be a good choice for carry when breathability and comfort are a priority.

    Can the waistbelt be removed or tucked away?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  6 месяцев назад

      Hi there. The Hip belt is stitched on, so cannot be removed. You could reverse the hit belt and clip it in on the front of the pack to keep it out of the way, but in practice that might not hold unless the pack is full.

      We don't choose where they go I'm afraid; it's RUclips's automated process. I'll see I can remove that particular one though.

    Would be perfect if the back wasn't so long, as all of their "smaller" packs are for long backs now, same with Osprey, Gregory & co. You get them shorter but with a sad joke of a hip belt, or overpadded for laptops or heavy as hell still with the misleading "lite" in their name. It's as if short women or teens didn't deserve a decent, lightweight hiking pack.
