I love how she is going to Vienna, a romantic place to meet a man... Tommy is going... to Birmingham said in a raspy tired voice to buy a horse. This show is excellent.
There are two very subtle and extremely well acted moments when Tommy turns his view away and her cheerful disposition is shown to be fake and changes to a look of contempt. Once just before she shoots the man dealing with the legal papers and once more when she turns to go to her car at the end.
Exactly! Good of him too. The sex between them was purely transactional, mainly instigated by Tatiana, I suspect (sorry, didn’t watch the whole of Peaky Blinders yet, especially on Netflix). I can bet Tommy, in the bed, had to match his vigour with hers, but in the final exchange between them, Tommy didn’t bother returning that kiss. No passion, no deep intimacy, no nothing. Nothing like what he had for Grace. It was cold, it was strictly business. That, and perhaps because Tatiana can bend any rule and any arrangement to her liking. She has that kind of power.
@@gylee6949 Tatiana made it clear that she was the (brutal) product of a very disillusioned/complex/cruel life that encouraged a defensive then aggressive nature. She’s a really sad character in this series because she chose to be an evil, empty, moral vacuum. Tommy’s ultimate contempt for her is worse than a bullet, as there’s a few flashes of pain in her face & I think she probably shot the poor innocent man as a distraction ‘power’ move rather than let Tommy know that he got to her.
I guess her man waiting in Vienna must be a liar. Tatiana seems to have an affair to Tommy and be quite jealous at his wife. Maybe she tried to make Tommy little bit jealous at her "man".
It’s an insane scene. She could’ve easily shot Tommy in the back & he knows she’s ruthless & psychotic enough to have done it. But she chose to kill somebody innocent instead. Nasty power play that he lost here. Alfie warned him he was out of his depth.
@ you’re right, but it’s still chilling that Tommy walks away from her feeling & looking more disturbed than most of his near death encounters. He could’ve shot her & didn’t.
She might not have got far - from the mid'20s onwards, it wasn't a good time in Austria for dissident Russians with or without money....communist or otherwise...but I guess she'd have sussed out the atmosphere and moved on. :-)
@@mariuscozma4271she is his match in everything (look, wit, shrewd, courage and of course bending rules) and doesn't fear him it sed he didn't interested on her. Grace is way blander.
She got all the signatures from him, he knew about them making a tunnel, knew where they were going, she killed the guy and took the jewels back so she can re-use them for future stuff.
Once a jewellery appraisal is completed with a final sale, a receipt if you will is recorded. Now back in those days wifi wasn't a thing and wiring money was also, a space age concept. So the young lady needs, if she is inclined to re-sell them at a more reduced inflated sale later on, that piece of paper recognizing the sale is the principal on that jewellery now. Killing him and taking the Jewellery for her own selfish means she can AGAIN set the price to her satisfaction and her "Betrayal" is her going against her family heirlooms. Similar to someone hawking a family heirloom for the last 5 generations only to be sold to someone for quick cash. However, for a royal family, almost priceless and should be in placed in a museum for people to view at nearly no cost what so ever to see historical artifacts. It wasn't so much Tommy but Tatiana betraying her family's interest.
That actress is the most beautiful in the whole serial's female cast (May, Esme and the syndicate lady are the next ones). ❤ I think she should play Grace and Anabell should Tatiana or May. They would look avesome together with Tommy as couple, both have beautiful eyes, face, and not mentioning hot body. A brunette Grace also would make sense bc his first love was a brunette Italian girl and that case the similarity with her would attract him.
