  • So here it is! Klaus Wunderlichs tico tico, the tutorial. I have noticed that no one has actually made a video on how to play this with all the popping sounds here and there. I am not a teacher, never have been, but hopefully this video might help someone somewhere. ENJOY!
If you have found this video helpful please consider clicking the like and subscribe button as this let me know that more people will like them. I will admit that its not perfect, it's my first ever tutorial for playing music. I assume before hand you can already play tico tico. Also leave any comments below. Thanks :-0

Good try at bringing this down to a tempo where people can actually see what is going on :) Always found this difficult cause these kind of musical "show off" songs kinda "Have" to be played fast :p
Those "popping" left hand effects is one of the things I have always admired Klaus for, and darn hard to figure out :)
Its not just technique. Its also about tone settings. I don't have the correct drawbar settings, but it has to be short (no decay or sust - and not too much reverb) as it in my ears emulates a rhythm guitar with wah effect

Hi Mrdali, thanks for your comments. You know, I never thought of that popping thing as a wah guitar but come to think about it, yes, you are right, it does resemble it. Good thought. And thanks for watching.
