Good groups only work when everyone in the group is good. Issue is people wanna get carried
imo the problem is that you NEED to kill him to advance to zones to get higher than level 52 or so weapons and gear.. and the fight is harder than any before.

Indeed. Why they decided to hamper story progression with these insanely difficult bosses, I'll never understand. They should be optional. Also, the lagging is just absolutely insane. I literally lagged off the map during a colossi fight. No other game I play does this shite. Which is a pity, because this game is actually decent...except the monetization. But we're talking about Nexon here, so it's kind of to be expected.
It's mainly the time limit I despise in these fights. It's gotten to a point now where I say "Hooray, time to fight the time limit."
It's honestly starting to make me despise this game. I love challenges, hell I've played countless FromSoftware games and even more Souls-like games. These just don't feel fair though even with a good build. I'd love to melt this boss as Gley but then I have to pray I don't get paired with cavemen to fight Dead Bride to be able to have an insanely low chance at getting one of her blueprints

Yup happened to me last night 20 times nobody was taking care of the pods and back to full health frustrating

@@wrxlth I'd say its a developer issue. Regen faster than Wolverine, non stop firing, AOE puddles, ads and 4x the normal load of health on parts. All while being capped at weapon level 53 against a level 54 boss. Unless you pay to unlock additional mod capacity or farm it out. Than farm out the 6.4k to 33k Kuiper per mod. And have it's polarization slots which is yet another farm. Than have competent teammates than and only than can you pass this.
It's 100% a wall/ gear check that pushes at paying for some of the requirements needed to get your gear to par to fight the boss.
This is probably the first wall you hit in the entire game. The other colossus boss fights were easy asf but I'm literally stuck on this boss fight lol. It's definitely a DPS check instead of a skill check before the clock says hello.

@@Diego_Curcino Dead Bride was easy in my opinion because she didn't have any annoying and tedious mechanic that you have to DPS check with your squad.
i played this 3 times yesterday, and the pugs completely ignore the pods until it's too late. Also, i'm 99% sure the "healing" in this video is super slow compared to what i was seeing yesterday. If it was at this speed, it wouldn't be a problem, but in-game, when i'm quickly finished with one pod, the boss is already getting his shield back up.

It seems like it was moving normal speed when they first dropped but I think each pod contributes to the heal so the better strategy instead of everyone splitting to take them down simultaneously, it would be better to have everyone focus one down at a time to quickly reduce the heal effect.

Got stuck last night and even edged his health but people just keep goin down and these PS players are COOKED. In my experience like. Randoms are a real wildcard at this point and i do not look forward to future bossfights
Randoms never break parts next to impossible hard to believe lvl 40s don't know this by now it's mind boggling edit: the stabilizers have roughly 1.5 to 2millon plus damage to break unreall

My first two runs were awful, so I looked up this guide. Upped my toxic resistance and switched to Bunny. Put electric mod on my Tactical Rifle, and next group shredded him. Thanks!

i spent 4 days trying to kill this guy before uninstalling. im not even dying we just cant do enough damage
i fell off the map while fighting this dude and realised the method, this helped me beat him first try.
I was using Lepic in solo mode and his 4th ability does around 50% of the bosses hp or shield, i pretty much suicided to destroy the healing beacons ASAP then when you respawn your abilities are off cooldown and you have full mana. I just repeated this and killed him in about 4-5 minutes.
am i missing something? your devourer got a bar on top showing when he's using the healing pod? also why is your devourer healing so slow when mine literally heal completely after like 10 seconds he dropped the pods

No idea how to do it on keyboard but on controller just press right stick and it’ll show the 2nd bar

I’m so sad because this is one of the most annoying bosses to fight and I need to do it to get Valby. 😭
Edit: Y’all I beat the boss! I lucked out and got in a game with 4 max level bunny randoms. But I have a lot of grinding ahead of me to get those Valby parts still. My recommendation is to try to play after 6:30 because that’s when I started playing and I lucked out with randoms and beat him 6 times. I built toxic antibody mod and weak point mods, but who knows I still could have been getting carried.

@@TheTonistarks Yeah, the little device that spawns after you kill the devourer is how you can form the amorphous material into Valby parts. Just make sure you farmed the correct material before hand or else you’ve basically battled the devourer for nothing, and that would be so god damn painful.
@@sarahgonzales864 you can get valby parts from doing void bosses if you click f on the part it will show you which one you need and then you can farm materials to start the boss, i got valby before the devourer from this

pls guys, just do it SOLO. the boss has way less health and heals way less during the intermission. Walk trough the park, trust

If anyone is struggling to do it as a group do it solo the boss scales down and is a lot less tanky as long as you got a semi decent build

I can do more damage solo. Every single one of his attacks hits me though. You can’t run jump or dodge they all hit every time.

Ajax skill Orbit Barrier = easy mode. It will reflect boss crystal attack. Problem with group is the dps classes will take the aggro away from Ajax. I tried solo but Ajax doesn't have the dps to take down all 3 pods.

I built Pure health mods (after I upgraded them )on viessa I just never die the shield mods just feel weak was thinking about the piercing mods now will definitely put them on thanks

for now im stuck on this guy on hard mode, there is barely players doing it on hard and you cant solo it unless i get maybe twise as strong dps wise
I think that's why matchmaking on hard is not there as they didn't expect many solo players to be on hard mode so soon so didn't see the need for it. I imagine it will come though.
Seriously this games player base is full of toddlers who can’t understand that shooting the invincible boss instead of the green things that heal him doesn’t help
Let's do the math. It takes 10 seconds for the boss to get back to full health. There's 4 pods, they start healing 2 seconds after spawning. With the average time to run to a pod being 5 seconds. Destroying one solo takes 4/7 seconds with the limitation of gear level. Pair focusing isn't an option as it takes too long to run from one to the next. Unless you're bunny.... However it's still slow. If healing cycles are on repeat. We'll see an overwhelming amount of players just saying. "NOPE" and that's very very bad for a free to pay game.
If only there was a way to permanently disable the healing bs, like a weak point like his middle one gets destroyed? No more healing ever.

Oh well. People need to hear that it's okay to leave a party where your teammates aren't pulling their weight or doing boss mechanics because it is okay to leave. No point in wasting my time, I don't care what the one not pulling his own weight thinks of me leaving to find someone who will.

I haven't been able to clear this guy at all. On average I'm doing 9mil + dmg per encounter on him. Is it me I still have to work on or is it my group that needs to upgrade it's damage? Thanks for the vid.

No way that this is possible. I've tried it 12 times now and every time the timer runs out and at the end he heals full hp up again and again and again. You can't beat this guy. Tried it solo, tried it coop. I have the tamer with a lightning% module and I don't even come close to beating this guy. Even when we all attack his pods, he heals full health within like 30sec. Fuck this game I'm out. This made boss made me quit it

Players need to watch a video before even going in there and learn what needs to be done.

The other issue is your guns are always a level below the boss. Max level is 53 on the missions in the area before this boss. Im going to swap to my level 40 bunny and see how that works out. Maybe solo first. I think you cma get lucky and team up with randoms that have higher level guns and are just farming the materials
I can’t get enough damage no matter what. Surviving isn’t my problem. I’ve been hard stuck for 3 days and it’s starting to feel like I need to buy something for more power, idek what id need to buy tho.

lvl 40 ajax with lvl 52 weapons, i changed my build around for this boss and I can break 4 weak points in a fight but at the end he always ends up with 80% hp cause he keeps stalling with that heal
I only have one lvl 53 weapons and the other two are 43. Life is not good over here

this is the real first boss made for make you spend money, the purple bar is way too fast and the pods have way too much health and with the drop bomb attack is just annoying... they want you to spend money on upgrades, they just doing this when they know you are almost at the end of the campaing and now you are stuck.
Unfortunately with randoms is almost impossible to kill this guy, too many ppl are just useless and if you have even 1 in the group (and often are more than 1) you can't beat him... ppl are dying too fast, they don't even have a strategy, I can completely ignore the boss attack and still don't die, just run once in a while for a red orb and I spend 80% of my time reviving ppl... on top of that they avoid the pods like if they are scared of them, you finish yours, run to help someone and their pods is almost at full health still.
Unfortunately the game is so easy till than point that 90% of ppl never actually try to learn the mechanics, just went with the suggested mods and if one person in the group was op they just completed every missions one shot, now with this boss if one person suck you are screwed, and you can't do it solo without, again, spending money because even if everything is scaled on health the pods are so far from each other, and their number is the same, that from the time you killed them all the boss is at half shield every time

I use her but not the abilities. I use Thunder Cage with an electric damage mod. I would use Bunny if the Exp grind didn't make me want to kiss the barrel of a shotgun with how agonizingly slow it is. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and just level up Bunny since I'm honestly starting to get fed up with the damn health pods and teammates running around like headless chickens

Tried that, the missle barrage melted me every time. Just can't move fast enough to out run it thanks to the splash and can't tank it even with nere max health and high resistance.

I can’t find a good group!! I’ve done it 6 times they’re just shooting and not shooting the weak points smh
So, I found a Reddit thread that pretty much solved this problem for me. The key to beating this A hole is to fight em “alone”. Yes fight him alone and it took me my second try to kill him. Shredded him with an Electric build using Lepic. Haven’t rank my Bunny up, which would make the fight a lot easier but yea good old Lepic did the job. Buff up with Health and DEF, ranked up gear, along with Electric ATK, and your headach is gone… for now cause I haven’t did this fight on Hard Mode. Hope this helps and don’t be afraid to fight em alone, especially you “Bunny” users 😂

Cant really blame teamates, the weapons you get up to this point are barely enough to kill this guy, Solo is way easier

Really getting tired of these DPS check difficulty spikes every 20 minutes worth of missions, between this and mission boss orbss, I'm starting to feel more bored than entertained, this is the last boss I'm gonna deal with this shit, if Pyro is as much of a gate as this and dead bride were, I'm just done, they're not getting a penny out of me and I'm just moving on to another game.

Do it solo, I was bunny, a literally squishy and it worked
very "useful" information... shoot weak points and get better gear/group. Reeeeeeeeally helped A LOT LOT
Its a boss fight not supposed to be easy quit crying
i somewhat cheesed him with ajax solo. beef up toxic resistance, defense and hp. abuse his first skill orbit barrier. keep running across the field back and forth and hug the barrier. one of his attacks will stick to the wall and proc the damage reflection quickly. it will be hard to see him through wall but shoot away. rinse repeat. just make sure you blitz his healing pods and dont be afraid to run under him to get away from his melee smash. got him down in about 4 mins
Way too difficult . This game is so frustrating. Warframe did everything better. I‘m almost done with this game
