  • It generates four times more gambling revenue than Las Vegas but there's more to Macau than slot machines and roulette. Look past the casinos to find a wealth of history and cuisine shaped by the fusion of Chinese and Portuguese culture.

Been there. A great charming vacation place: beautiful scenery, ocean fresh air, great food both Portuguese and Chinese, rich charming history, lots to see and entertain, and they are real, better than Las Vegas.

Yea, the saunas are the other reason why people go to Macau... lol
But seriously, there are more attractions the St Paul ruins. Like Vegas, it has some shows. There are the Senate and Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, Fortaleza do Monte, Coloane Island and Hac Sa Beach, The Maritime Museum and Fisherman's Wharf, Portas do Cerco (Border Gate), Taipa Island and Taipa House, Kun Iam: The Temple of the Goddess of Mercy, etc.
Unfortunately, the casinos aren't as much of an attraction like the ones in Vegas. You basically just go to gamble and there isn't much else to look at.

Nothing is really expensive in there if you be careful with your money.

A SIN CITY in China! Too many Chinese enter into Marcu every day, gambling 7/24. What an abnormal place! >

You think the communist government will abide by the conditions the Portuguese and English set up when they turned those two regions to the communist? We already see distress in Hong Kong and its democracy when the Chinese president is saying that they would choose the candidates for them to chose from. Macau will weep for the Portuguese to return and rule over them and Hong Kong will weep for the British to rule them as well. Sadly, for me is the lost of Christianity in these places.

What is the difference between hk gov and mo gov is that mo gov isn’t trying to get out some “culture” and admire they ARE/WERE here. If “we” should get rid of it. The first step is to hold a “cultural revolution”-burning churches s, get rid of the historical centre etc. Which in my opinion is savage but meet for the expectation of some so call human
