You guys should hot rod the 80 inch motor before you put in a crate motor ! As a 90 HP 80 inch motor it is tons of fun whooping up on those Twinkies & M8s with an FXR !
@@robertstenang2914 10.5 compression 560 lift cam big valves ported heads single fire ignition Super E carb & a thunder header exhaust running it slightly retarded & a hand full of jets ! Honestly it's not that difficult & mine is stock bottom end .
What a blessing to be able to build badass bikes for a living! We all know an 80ci EVO isn't putting down any real power, still would have been nice to hear the numbers tho, nothing to be embarrassed about, it is what it is.
Holy crap idk how but I never knew you guys were in NY! I'm not too far away up in the Albany area. I just got done putting a Hammer 1275 kit on my Sportster Roadster. I'll have to make the ride down when the weather clears up!
maybe its just me but I feel like once you remove the stock motor from a bike its no longer that bike its something different, I would like to see you just hot-rod the current motor an keep its heart an soul in these classic bikes. beautiful bike you've done an awesome job on her
Bad bad bike yalls got rite there 🤘 Question: the s&s crate motors, do they accept the same performance pipe as the OEM motor did? My 09' 96" has a 2-1 pipe, will a crate twin cam motor allow me to keep same pipe?
@John_shepard as far as fitment and flange stand point...my 2-1 pipe on my stage 1 96" and tuner I'd like to keep with a crate motor..doing my homework rite now
Im surprised that the engine didn't leak a sh*t ton of oil on first start. My dad has an FXRT and after sitting half a year it always leaks on first start.
Everyone goes to big with the crate motors. It ruins the power delivery of fxr tooo much to quick ... feels like a drag bike. I would build 80 little and tune it well

I'm building that right now!
What have you done to reach 90hp on an 80incher?

I agree. I think the smaller bore engines are more fun. You can run it a little harder and it doesn't try to kill you. Tends to be more reliable too.
80ci evo is the best mototr ever made by harley👌

Agreed!
Been waiting for these new episodes to drop man
Absolutely beautiful bike man. I enjoyed following your work on this build series. Thanks for the videos!
Spittin fire 🔥 💥
Nicely done!! That blue is definitely looking great and good choice in suspension too!
🍻🍻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 so happy to finally see this bike ready to rip 💪💪💪
Man I haven’t heard an EVO in awhile, let me tell you I have missed that sound

Come on by!
Great build!!
🍻🍻
Save ur money for v111 and buy another fxr ! That ones prefect stock 80 unmolested
Great series iron anchor , what headlight is on that bike ? Will that inverted front end by gigacycle fit a1989 fxrs ?
When you're all done with it I'll race you title for title on my stock fjr.
May I suggest some heads from Speed and Science, as well as a good cam.

Bike looks great! Will that black Twincam in the background at the end of your video make it into a build series?
We built that one a while back… but maybe we could do a video talking about it - it’s a got a good story.
Bad bad bike yalls got rite there 🤘

Depends on your goals. Some people still run thunderheaders on 124 in motors

can you please link the riser height, what length cables and brand? Please and thank you brakes and wires
Watching to the dyno run and then not hearing the numbers is like fucking and not coming. Really?
Im surprised that the engine didn't leak a sh*t ton of oil on first start. My dad has an FXRT and after sitting half a year it always leaks on first start.
I think your Dad's bike is 'wet sumping'.

😆🛴
Not giving the dyno numbers was such a cop out. Like, seriously. We know it's stock, so why be scared to throw the numbers out🤷🏼♂️?
Come on man what wear the power numbers . My guess 75 hp.
Yup, pretty close.
For an old school motor with just a pipe and tune that's very respectable imo
All that work and no motor work 🤔🤔
4 Mins in and I can't watch anymore... 45 ah's and 32 ums.
Do why did you comment? Then you dazzle us with counting. Tool
Dude,at least give it a cam for the season!
