As someone who does effects like that as part of my job Iam always in awe on how much effort you put into your videos! You are one of a few content creators who put a smile on my face when my inbox shows a new video! Love it!
Oh awesome! Really glad you made this, it's a really clever effect... Good reminder that the thing that sets the best VFX shots apart is almost always in the planning and making sure the shot _functions_ over being completely perfect, because most people won't notice if something's slightly off.
Love your videos dude keep it up I hope you may get millions of subscribers soon♥️♥️ 10:59 bro made such a masterpiece and said I don't know much about this program 😂
Great tutorial lowres! When I watched this it got me thinking how on earth you did that, and the answer is actually just being creative! Also, I just want to share a mod I discovered with you that could increase your editing ideas, it's name is Tweakfork, it's basically an expansion of Tweakeroo, it has some cool extra tweaks to learn about, but the most important one I'd say is "rendering just a selected area from you game" (you can also do the opposite, like NOT rendering just a selected area). With this you can create some insane effects, like showing a complete build and then adding transparency to the roof and showing the interior from the outside (just a cool example). And that also works inside the replay mod! Hope you find this useful, your series is one of the coolest to watch, and I believe this could make it even better!
This is very cool! I was blown away when I saw this in your episode and I’m always very impressed by your cinematography. I liked seeing your process a lot and it encourages me to try something similar. Thank you!
I tried to figure out how you'd done the effect when you first showed it. My guess was two separate replay files - one of you building the track with your player model hidden, and the other of you riding the minecart, both with the same keyframe data in the replay files. My initial thought was that you used a greenscreen texture pack when rendering the second replay video, and chroma keyed everything but the player and the Minecart in your editing software and placed it over the first replay video, but I didn't think that would work with the shaders you were using. My second thought was similar, but instead of a greenscreen you manually keyframed out the completed track from the second clip - definitely a lot closer with that second guess lol. Keep up the super creative shots, they really make your series stand out - also I love how you used the same editing trick in the background of the intro :P
Ok wow I knew how to make this shot immediately as I saw it, but that retiming of the timelapse to line up with the Minecraft must have been tedious. Imagine having a third clip where the bridge is broken behind the minecart… that would be a nightmare
It was interesting listening you talk about your process. It was like a friend is nerding about their passion stuff (in a fun way) trying to explain to me :D
Since he was in a backup creative world he could of tried using command blocks to a play at same speed and b be smoother and better. But that would need knowledge on how to use them but im 95% it can do that.
This video is exactly what I needed and I’m so happy to see what’s possible since I use davinci resolve too and it’s also nice to have it come from a RUclipsr that I already watched
This specific one is a screenshot that I edited. Most are just composited/edited screenshots. I do sometimes use blender to render my skin but you can do that a number of ways if you aren’t familiar with Blender.
@@lowresbonus Ahh Awesome! I was thinking that with the shaders and so on, that the quality of the in-game screenshorts were good enough for thumbnails :D
honestly it'd be dope asf if you made more videos like this explaining your creative process and how you edit stuff.
i was wondering how you did it when i saw it. super cool!
I've been trying to learn the Replay Mod for so long, I use it very limitedly, any tips?
Hope this helped! Did you catch the wheat thief at the start??
Ye i wondered what that was
Now I did
Can you show us how you make your thumbnails of your videos
Yes I saw it at 0:10 it looked EXACTLY JUST LIKE YOU
that was VERY hilarious 😂
It's amazing how much effort bro puts in a 13 minute minecraft episode
Yeah, even as someone who spends weeks to make and prepare videos this still impressed me

im glad u made a vid abt this shot it was awesome! would love to see more tutorial/breakdowns of parts of ur vids!
That was absolutely a great shot and as soon as I saw it I wanted to know how you did it!
Thank you so much for explaining this, now I want to try to make a scuffed version in Bedrock
Hrmm, I think I see someone back there.... 0:10
👀
that was some really cool insight into your creative process! it really shows that you have a background in video editing
What a great video and so helpful for unexperienced video editors like myself! Thank you for making this
Hi i dont want to send weird questions but which shader do you use? Becouse the gameplay in your Videos is so awesome!

Dude....How are you so awesome at building, can you please make a video about how to get better at building? plzzzzzzzz it would help me a lot!!!!
Love your videos dude keep it up I hope you may get millions of subscribers soon♥️♥️

This shot just looks wonderful and looks difficult. But actually, breaking it down simplifies it perfectly, another great video!

Brother there's a new replay mod called Flashback If you can do this with that I'm pretty sure you can do it too with flashback
That was super interesting, thanks for sharing! :)

I was wondering about this! What a great technique.
I genuinely just assumed you’d use some command blocks to do the building for you with a link to timings. This is a far more interesting approach.
He’s just using hacks
Since he was in a backup creative world he could of tried using command blocks to a play at same speed and b be smoother and better. But that would need knowledge on how to use them but im 95% it can do that.
a vfx breakdown on lowresbonus is the best thing ever, hoping for more in the future :D
After Breaking it down, Its pretty easy if you get the replay shots correctly
THANK YOU BONES!!
i had an idea of how you did it but i still enjoyed this :D keep it up man you're awesome
What are your exporting settings? Cuz the quality is absolutely beautiful
a blessing from the lowres 🙏🙏🔥
I would have never thought that u did it like this, i thougt it was just commandblocks lol
This will help me to make future videos of minecraft, Thx
This video is exactly what I needed and I’m so happy to see what’s possible since I use davinci resolve too and it’s also nice to have it come from a RUclipsr that I already watched
ahhhh see I told you i KNEW it took some percise timing haha
I love your videos and how to build your minecraft house
Appreciate the lil tutorial, very nice.
This was so interesting to watch! You're an absolute wizard mate :)
Haha thanks 🙏
YES i always wanted to know how you did this!!
make a video about thumbnails there so good teach us
Wow awesome
THIS WAS A YEAR AGO?!?!
Don’t remind me haha
guess people dont know what command blocks are
i still dont understand how you overlay a entity over it
I was wondering how you did this, and I'm glad we got an answer.
I’d really love to see a video oh how you make your thumbnails they’re amazing‼️‼️‼️‼️
I think I’ll have to now
😮😮😮
That's really cool! Maybe I'll try to do something like this 🤔
😮
So that's how you dealt with the time of the day and shadow problem ^^
Nice vid, and really nice shot !
Hi
Edit: I saw another you in the beginning mining hay
The only thing I learnt that you're pro at what you do 😅
9:44 this is the moment when lowresbones became a shulker
i was so confused, man this is smart stuff
That was great, thanks for explaining!
i love your creative process, i'm glad you're willing to go out of your way to show others how you achieve these truly unique shots, much love!
you explained it fine! This is super cool i use davinci and i never would have thought to do this
What is your PC spec
thank you lol ❤
This is awesome man,
So cool.
Oh man, thats really interestingly done! I thought it had to do with chunk render distance haha
This is great! Quick question.. your thumbnails, are they just taken from screenshots in-game? or do you use some 3D-software? :)
This specific one is a screenshot that I edited. Most are just composited/edited screenshots. I do sometimes use blender to render my skin but you can do that a number of ways if you aren’t familiar with Blender.
