  • DIY Brake Pad Change - Porsche GT3 991/911 PCCB
    PCCB = Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes
    This video is to give you an idea whats needed to change break pads on a GT3..
    Parts are shown in video, also part number
    Price for parts will be around 1350.- Euro
    Labor at a Porsche shop will be about 500 Euro, so thats what you can save you do it your self
    if you are not a racer let Porsche do it!
    You will also need some special tools!
    Torque wrench that can do 600 nm, and other tools.
    Anyway i just made this video to show some of the steps and give others a general idea whats involved.. enjoy..

    How are your PCCBs holding up? how many track days/kms on a set? I am speccing .2 now and this time would like to try PCCBs if the running costs don't kill. Thanks!

      car sold long time ago, did buy a McLaren, was thinking that was an upgrade, but have not found out it was actually a pretty big downgrade in service aspect. Those PCCB was okay, but i will never again buy car with Ceramic breaks, its too expensive for someone like me that do track days, pads are like 700 euro and disks are like 5-7K per axle, that's just stupid... Porsche steel breaks works just fine, and much cheaper to run..

    Thanks for posting. I am gonna do it my self as well. Can you use the same grease on those pad bolts as for the wheel hub?

      i use ceramic high heat compound! you need the right stuff for this, get from Porsche or eBay :)
