BICYCLE TOURING MINI-BREAK - BELGIUM & THE NETHERLANDS
I had a 3 day mini-break in July 2022 where I took my touring bike for a spin.
From my home in Goirle, the Netherlands I cycled South into Belgium. And finished, at the end of day 3, in the city of Maastricht. From here I took the train home.
This video is about day 2 of the trip:
Starting with a ride thru the mediaval part of the city of Diest.
Passing the beautiful little town of Zoutleeuw.
Then crossing from Flanders into Wallonie and reaching the river Meuse at the town of Huy.
And finally reaching my campsite along the river Ourthe near the town of Durbuy.
For the biggest part I followed some Ravel Cycle routes in the Wallonie section (Route 127, 126 and W7) Information in English on the Ravel routes can be found here: ravel.wallonie...

I have just watched video 1 and 2 of your mini break and enjoyed them very much. Looking forward to the next one. I visited the Netherlands last month for the first time and absolutely loved it. I thought the cycling was far more relaxing than here in Scotland.

Nice, I just came back from a three week bike trip trough NL, BE and FR. I rode along the Dutch, Belgian and France coast to Boulongne sur Mer.Then I turned inland in France again and I rode to Givet (France) to meet up with the Meuse/Maas. Then I cycled back to NL along the Maas. Great ride and sunny weather.

Hoi, leuk gefilmd en bedankt voor de inspiratie, ik ben zelf woonachtig in Lichtaart naast Herentals en een ritje naar Durbuy (spreek uit Durbwie..😉) is wel een ideetje...bij deze geabonneerd en benieuwd naar meer ritjes...👍🏻.
