This was filmed in 2023 by the way folks on a RE Meteor I was loaned for 3 months, just so you know. Next leg of the journey coming next week 😎 Thanks Steve.
Yep, I enjoyed that, had many a bimble around down that way, always like to take the little 'back road' past Powderham church and on through....... Seeing your footage of Dawlish made me realise that i haven't been that way for some time because i haven't seen that new flood defence work that they've done. Looking forward to the Teignmouth episode, my favourite end destination 👌👍
Really enjoyed this one even though all my childhood holidays back in the 60's were spent in Budleigh Salterton where we stayed with Mrs Madge who charged 6 guineas (that's 6 pounds and 30p) pp pw for BB&EM, lovely part of the world. Loved the exhaust note.
High exititer rider , have been to all the places you filmed and stayed at Dawlish on holiday in aholiday let also walked at Dawlish Warren on the beach and dunes with ower dogs and enjoyed very much , look forward till the next vid
It's a lovely area but one of those places where unless you know where to go it can be a short day out.... Hopfully this and next week's vid will give you a clue👍😎
Yes for sure, Next weeks vid I go to where I wanted to take us when we went to Teignmouth last year but ran out of time. That Supernova really caught me as you know......I think I still prefer the Supernova but happy with my Fireball. Have a good week ,Thanks
Evening Steve Loved that one not been there but looks gorgeous! Look forward to the next episode. Perfect timing with the trains 😊😊 Sunshine ☀️ what’s that heh can’t wait and hope to get some this year All the best Phil
Hello Phil, So much to expole in this country isn't there....just not enough blimming time to do so! Were nearly at the warmer end coming right up...Love it! More next week and with my new camera : )
great place to sit and reflect and eat a pasty! i see why this is your favorite ride. i live on the water and i do not have those entertainment.... wait, Virginia Beach has the entertainment for families. soon to have a Surf Park that has been built by a famous singer and native, Pharrell Williams. But its all modern looking as they get rid of the old and in with the new. again, thank you for the tour, wonderful places.
I'd love to visit your area, it sounds really nice. Lets hope Pharrell makes a nice job of it. It sounds like a fun plac3e to go when its built....living by the beech is the only way, I'd always have to be by the coast I think. Have a good week mate.
Hi Steve, Thanks for sharing, Thats a very good looking Meteor, love the colour. Thats a very nice part of the world, my son trained at Lympstone so Ive been there a few times for events but never toured around, but I have now added it to my list, Thanks mate and ride safe.
My son was going to go to Lympstone as well ,but changed his mind due to wanting to be medical in some way. If you're ever donw it would be great to hook up for a brew. Thanks Paul.
You've certainly got some pictures places in the south. Up here in flat cap country we have the dales with wonderful scenery, and, as with yourselves it's packed solid during the summer with nowhere to park. Looking forward to the next video, thanks and ride safe.
You've got some beautiful places reasonably close by. I just wonder if you get a little frustrated by the traffic & hoards of crockles that descend in the summer?
I love it here, although its becoming over developed in Exeter it still feels like you can get away from it all .....JUst! I don't mind crockles because when they are going down the Beach - I often am too with the family. so although the roads get busier it keeps moving. The fustrating thing is when you go to park at midday and all the spaces are taken....thats a pain....Still keeps the energy aive down there..... Lots of people come from your area. Have a good week.
You picked a great day to have a ride out on your Meteor. Very nice relaxing video apart from the Trains flying past, did you say you could seat and eat your sandwiches there. Very interesting that rail crossing, not seen one of them before. Cheers
Thanks Kime, This was a loan bike from RE I had for a few months. Had some wonderful adventures on it for sure. That beech I stopped off at has no benches but when the tides out you get a long stretch of beach to walk along and due to the tide you get it to yourself too...lovely place...Thanks
It certainly is a lovely run, ER, which I did many times years ago when living in Kingsteignton. I think the Devon Tourist Board owe you a few bob for all that advertising.
I'm looking forward to next weeks, I use my new camera for the first time. Finish off at Torquay next week. Lovely area once you know where to go away from the back streets. I'm happy to take the Tourist Board budget and make even better videos....Wouldn't that be nice!
It'll be interesting to see if any holes get filled this year. I've seen the highway maintenance trucks but more holes than ever. Happy days from east Devon.
Hi Steve inside isn’t what I was expecting when I went many years ago it was like a museum of household goods still pretty interesting though, wonder if the tortoise 🐢that knew queen Victoria is sill Alive and well 🤣 loved that ride from Exeter to Dawlish, pop into Bridge and SP then onto Dawlish, on the way home pop into CMS thanks for the memories Steve nice one ….. Pete 🇫🇷
I've just been researching the atmospheric Railway, something I've always heard of but never knew what it was, and that pumping house I have passed 5000 times and never knew what it was even though it intriged me. I'd really like to get in side and have a look. I expect the old pump gear has gone but I would have really liked to see that as well. Next time I'm passing I'd like to have a look again and see if I can get inside! ...Thanks for watching Peter.
Is great here mate as it is at your end. I'm still thinking about it Toj, I told my misses its a Raleigh Chopper in the garage. She has no clue, but she does like kittens😊
You had to rev under the Warren tunnel didn’t you😁. Don’t forget the famous Starcross Atmospheric Pumping Station by Brunel. A same you could not show the slipway and harbour at Cockwood. I’ve got some great shots from there.
It's the law to rev bomb in tunnels Lumpy! famous Starcross Atmospheric Pumping Station???? never heard of it, I'm ashamed of my self....That will be a video for another day, sound right up my street, Thanks for the heads up on that and watching this, have a good week 👍
Ohh wow, I always wondered what that building was!!! I really want to get in there...Hopfully they have open days . Thanks for the heads up on this one!

Did just a short run, Teignmouth, NA, Exeter then home via Cockeood and Dawlish like you. Bike due for a service next month at Bransons, Yeovil, that will be a test for the back 😂

Next leg of the journey coming next week 😎 Thanks Steve.

Looking forward to Shaldon. Great, great grandmother lived there at 23 The Green in 1911 and 21 Dagmar Street in 1933.
Ahh I wished I had filmed that now. It's a lovely place, bliss in the summer!

Budleigh is on the to do list, another lovely part of the world. Thanks ,have a good week : )
Lovely video, such a picturesque area.
Classy looking Meteor 350. 👍
It is indeed, I really fell for that bike . she was a looker : )
Nice relaxed ride I love the sea views.
Part 2 coming next week with even more : )
High exititer rider , have been to all the places you filmed and stayed at Dawlish on holiday in aholiday let also walked at Dawlish Warren on the beach and dunes with ower dogs and enjoyed very much , look forward till the next vid
So cool! Those dunes were brill, but sadly they are now nearly all gone due to a big storm a few years ago....still lovely there though.
Lovely scenery thanks
Pleasure, even more next week for your eyes 👍
Great video, very informative. Looking forward to touring the region during the better weather.
It's a lovely area but one of those places where unless you know where to go it can be a short day out.... Hopfully this and next week's vid will give you a clue👍😎
We must do a pasty run there in the spring! That Meteor Supernova looks very smart❤

Thanks mate, its lovely...I would like to move there TBH, it would be perfect for me.
@exeterrider When the weather is better, I'll get down Dawlish for a day trip and fish and chips.

Well it is the main line from Exeter to Penzance. People gotta get away from Cornwall somehow 🤭 Lovely ride.😊
very true Lilly, The trains are empty going down but coming back its rammed😂Thanks, have a super week.
Nice locations and summer views.
Wonderful isn't it...I love summer days here.
I've been that way in the car but never on a motorcycle. I shall give it go this year.
I've been to the castle grounds to watch a gig.
Me too, Westlife sadly lol
If I lived in such a place I'm not sure I'd show it off on the Internet, you'll get hoards of Londoners buying up the place 😎
Well yes it's started already I think!
@@BeansOnToast_YT some Londoners would be very welcome.🤗
