The lead singer's look and voice reminds me a bit of Doro, don't know why. Also, an all-female metal band? Badass.
About her voice. She's closer to ZED YAGO's singering Jutta Weinhold.Jutta is from Germany. And she is one of the best power metal female singers of metal starting at 1986-88.

@@keithvincent4 I just discovered Doro in the past 4 years. I am 65 yrs old so I am really late to the party. lol Nightwish opened the door for me. In the late 70's and 80's I was having my 4 children and raising them. :-)

Never heard this band before, but I really like this. Gonna have to listen to more.
They have a Mike Howe-era Metal Church sound to them. At first I was thinking Blacky Lawless and W.A.S.P. but after another listen, it's definitely a Metal Church sound.
I saw this band playing live in London this April, they were great.
Such a great band. You should check out some of their newer stuff. They recently put out a new song called "Wings of Steel" with a new singer.
Sonia "Anubis" Nusselder may be young, just 20 years old, but she's going to be a guitar legend. Been watching her channel for a couple years on YT, she does death metal bass and guitar covers.
She is friends with Laura Goldemund who's also from the Netherlands and asked her to join the band when vocalist Seraina Telli left, she's featured in the single Wings Of Steel.
Great band and they now have a new lead vocalist ( SERAINA TELLI quit recently). A Dutch vocalist...a real surprise, Laura Guldemond who is out of the Dutch Singing Goddess mold joins them. This is an all female Swiss band and they kick a$$!!!! I am sure the new lead vocalist won't disappoint your ears or your eyes!!!

Lead singer reminds me of female Dio nice reaction. Hexen in German means Witch if my German serves me correct, so Witches Hammer , I learned some German when I was stationed in Berlin I n the 70s
99% correct. "Hexen" is plural of "Hexe" which means witch.
The "Malleus Maleficarum", usually called "Hexenhammer" is a book written in the middle ages by a german monk as legitimation of the persecution and execution of alleged witches and sorcerers. It details superstitions about witches and rules for persecuting and annihilating them. It was the basis for a terrible amount of torture and execution that ran rampant back in the day.

Check out this bands copy of Dio's "holy diver" live. Their really good. They are influenced by Judas priest and Dio and Slayer. They are finally getting recognition they deserve.

Yes! I'm grateful for the reaction channels for teaching me this. There is some negativity out there toward channels like this, but I see them very differently. I look at them as a kind of musical "crowd-sharing" experience.

What was true back in the day and is more true now is that the music industry and the lamestream media would rather not make money than promote metal, so those of us that love great music must keep ourselves informed. Remember it. Spread it.

Great song! They're new to me too, reminds me a little bit of Drain STH, whom was also an all girl rock band.
That's Sonia Anubis on lead guitar. Check out her yt channel. She freakin rocks!! Seraina Telli, the lead singer is awesome as well. Sadly both of them have left the Witches.

"Black Widow" would have been a better song to start with Burning Witches
I started with ,,Executed" and almost discarded this band, but later i heard this song and immediately became huge fan.
Who else was thinking "Why have I never heard of this band?", then looked them up and was relieved to find out that they're relatively new (2015) and just got signed by Nuclear Blast in 2018?
Another day...another rock novelty :)! And an all female metal band too....that's Definetly a new one for me! Time to do some research and binge some new metal sound :)

Burning Witches is the female version of Judas Priest. They're known as Judas Priestess.

You want another badass female metal singer? Try In This Moment - Big Bad Wolf official video. They have better songs but this one is good and really heavy. Maria Brink is the truth!
This song is off Burning witches second album (their first with Nuclear Blast though) Sonia Anubis their lead guitarist is awesome!!!! (check out her RUclips page) Unfortunately her and the singer ( Seraina Telli ) are no longer with the band.

Burning witches is also a song by them I'd say if you liked this I find the song of the same name and the black widow are both good as well if you don't react to them I'd at least suggest you listen to them

I'm not into Church of Satan stuff (at least it appears to be the subject - I could be wrong), but I can appreciate kickass music!
From the lyrics I caught and keep in mind this is my first listen as well. Wasn't satanic in nature it was describing the excuses and lies the church used during the persecution of soo called witches.
@@MrRockNRollLive As an atheist, I can and do ignore most religious references since they are absolutely everywhere. No big deal. But, every once in a while, it's just too much in one song. Like the music was sooo good, but I can't sing along. Not even a little bit. That definitely makes it tougher to enjoy the kickass music. Know what I mean?

This song is not satanic. I wish people could understand history and how to navigate through the Bulls hit and get to t t email truth. Witches being burned,yes but everyone's perception of a witch could be miles apart. To each their own. This song is deep in meaning. This band is awesome. Live performance is also great.
