      Hmm if you can export them using Powershell into a CSV file. You could possibly import them in. I'm not sure. Check out Powershellgallery.com there is maybe a script that will help. Also post a question on the Microsoft Tech Community page.

    Hi Andy, how difficult is it to become Microsoft certified? Found this on the internet “Microsoft certification exams are usually hard, really hard. They are generally not very fun to take. The exams dive into minutia, asking questions that people with years of experience can't answer. ... Microsoft publishes exam description pages for every exam they administer.Oct”

      Hi John thanks for reaching out and for your nice comment. Don’t listen to people who say you can’t do it, you can! All you need is a little confidence and experience. The latter is easy to get, if you know where to look. In the next few days I’m going to put up a video on getting into an IT career which I think you will find very interesting. In the meantime know that it doesn’t have to cost the Earth, and With a little experience you’ll soon discover that the exams are not as frightening as people make out. Remember, Microsoft want you to pass their exams there are plenty of resources out there to help you, all you need is a push in the right direction and a bit of confidence. You can do it! Stay tuned and watch out for my career video in the next couple of days and good luck.

    Thanks for the informative video, How do I enrol existing devices?

    • @AndyMaloneMVP
      @AndyMaloneMVP  3 года назад +2

      Create the enrolment policy in intune (Endpoint Manager). Assign permissions, and then have users download the intune agent onto their devices via the app store. They will then be invited to enrol. More details here. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/ Thanks for the comment and for stopping by.

      Is there a way to “force” the intune agent? As in, a user who has signed into email can’t send or receive any more email via their company user/email address until the device has been enrolled/intune/end pointed? I’m thinking the process of telling users to do it is fine, but what about a “user” device which is being used by a bad actor who has stolen a weak password or a burner device that a user setup when they forgot their phone on a bus trip?

    • @AndyMaloneMVP
      @AndyMaloneMVP  3 года назад +1

      @@jarrod731 Yes you can combine the enrolment policy it with a conditional access policy. Here's a couple of articles techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/core-infrastructure-and-security/microsoft-endpoint-manager-win-10-auto-enrollment/ba-p/1749025#:~:text=MDM%20auto%2Denrollment%20will%20be,s)%20for%20this%20Auto%20Enrollment. & here docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/quickstart-setup-auto-enrollment Also do remember that users will not access to 365 content unless they are enrolled, especially if you set up a conditional access policy. Good luck :-)

    What is the difference between Endpoint and Intune

    • @AndyMaloneMVP
      @AndyMaloneMVP  2 года назад +1

      Endpoint manager comes part of Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure. You can purchase it individually, or via an EM&S Subscription. Microsoft endpoint manager is the umbrella product, the device is an apps section within it form part of Microsoft in tune. You don’t have to go with Microsoft solution, you can use a third-party option as well, which is available in the MDM portal in Azure active directory. I hope that helps thanks for reaching out.
