another tip for taping the windows, if you carry a 1" - 1 1/2" putty knife you can run the tape right to the edge and rip a perfect 90. Works great for masking interior windows as well, makes it possible to have longer runs of tape, less pieces and no paint on the window in the corners or having to try and cut it with a knife.
I always have a hard time masking windows on the second story of homes. Any tips on that? I never seen a video on tips for 2nd story window masking would make a good next video.
So I have the same paper and plastic masker and I'm having trouble using it every time I pull a piece out more than like a foot.the tape rolls off the paper.any tips on what I'm doing wrong?
I used to tell my apprentices take that masking machine home and and sleep with it do not leave home without it.... If you go to dinner take it with you.. do that for 90 days you'll learn how to use it..

Tear it at an angle, it has its trick, I had the same issue till I mastered using masking machine its easy and makes things easier
