In this video, I'll be melting some .999 fine silver shot into some Silver pours into my graphite molds and doing some open mold sand casting. I'll be using my electronic furnace this time and not the Devil Forge. I am still an amateur when it comes to pouring and stamping as I only get a little practice every other week BUT I love trying my best and it's always a lot of fun. Hopefully, you all enjoy this pour video and don't give me too hard of a time. :) Want to become a Channel Member? The first Mando helmet looked cool with a little bubbling on it, makes it look worn like Boba Fett's helmet! More realistic like literal sand wear from Tatooine or Geonosis. Great pours Rob!
I want to start pouring very soon. I've never seen this type of pouring before. But I'm curious as to why you just made the castings, but didn't use those molds, where you put them together. They're 2 pieces. Is it because the castings only have 1 "side" to them and there's no need to use the "double" mold? I hope this makes sense! Thanks in advance.
Once again, great content! Although, I think it's funny when Texans think 58F is freezing cold!! Up north close to Canada it's not cold until your breath thru your nostrils and they stick together!!!
Hey Rob, been wanting to buy a smelter for a long time now but really not sure which I should get/everything needed to get started. Could you lead me in the right direction please? Thanks!
Question if you cover your pan with something to keep the heat in will that stop the bubbling on the sand pours? Great video and nice pours your definitely getting better filling the molds in my opinion even if a couple were a little shy they came out great thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Rob Hope about pouring your own Skunk Rounds? Didn't you say that you already paid for the mold? That way you could always meet the demand and each round would be individual and special to the owner. Just sayin' Brother!
Great video! I hope to try this one day. Question, why did the silver catch fire in the sand and not in the graphite mold? Just curious. Thanks! Ps the skulls and egg look amazing!! Great job!
Nice pours! I'm new to all of this and I'm curious as to why you didn't use "double sided" molds, to make these. Every one else I see pouring, packs the sand on 1 side of the mold and then does the same thing on the other side. Then they put them together and pour. I've never seen silver poured right into 1 mold. What is the reason for that?

How does stamping work? Looks really frickin' cool.
Do you have a website where you sell your work?
That toned egg is gorgeous! Love it!
Insert Robs voice here, "Hey Charlani how come you dont bake homemade bread anymore?"
Awesome Brother.👍
I am DIGGING the music playing while you pour!! Keep that goin please!!
Watching molten silver be poured and transformed into something cool, is 👍👍👍!!
Totally not long enough Rob!! Love the melt and pours. Thanks for sharing!!
That was cool. I learn more every time I watch your posts.
love the 4 ounce bar
Keep the mandalorion for auction! The roughness shows a battle tested mando! Some pretty sweet pours Rob, nice job!
Another cool video Rob.👍 Only one thing better than liquid silver is the sound, Yes the sound of silver. 🤓
The first Mando helmet looked cool with a little bubbling on it, makes it look worn like Boba Fett's helmet! More realistic like literal sand wear from Tatooine or Geonosis. Great pours Rob!
I love the ripple bar and the RFT egg. I look forward to one day seeing the pirate skeleton pour. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Rob, I've been interested in doing some of this, guess I stopped by at the right time.
Awesome pours brother
Awesome pours Rob!
THATS GREAT, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
Like the pouring turnout. Liquid gold and cools SILVER. Looks like a lot of fun 👍
The first mando helmet looks Awsome ! Looks like he got into a battle with some stormtroopers..

The first Mandalorian helmet has a blaster mark on his forehead!
The ripple bar looks like a very cool topographical map!! Very cool!!
Love the silver pours Rob, keep up the good work 👍
Awesome silver pour video turned out great thanks for sharing Rob 👍
LOVE the pour videos. Good stuff brother.
Wow more amazing video
Love watching the pour videos! Good stuff man! Happy holidays!
Awesome Love these pour videos
I love your videos rob especilly the live streams
What happened to the other Mandalorion? It looked like a nice pour. Fun video to watch! Thanks, Rob!
Rob, try putting your graphite molds over your electric furnace to preheat them. It brings them to higher temperatures and is harder to mess up
They look nice.
Nice - hope to win one of those real good goodies in an auction!
Thanks for the video......
Hey Rob im curious how do you get that sweet toning on the Egg one? do you do that after they have been cooled down and sitting for awhile?
Yes. A little sulfur in a closed container speeds it up!
Make a Christmas sliver star out of your sliver
Nice pours
cool pour's, just do a GAW on those two, I like the Mando...
Do you happen to notice what the impact that smelter has on your elect bill?
Also have you done copper in them?
It's minimal. It runs for about 2 hours every other week or so. Like running the dryer on laundry day.
@@RobFindsTreasure have you done copper?
Watching 👀
Once again, great content! Although, I think it's funny when Texans think 58F is freezing cold!! Up north close to Canada it's not cold until your breath thru your nostrils and they stick together!!!
Great video! I'm wondering why you didn't use double sided molds for the first 5 pieces. Is it because the pieces are single sided? Thanks in advance.
Yes. The molds were single sided.
Hey Rob, been wanting to buy a smelter for a long time now but really not sure which I should get/everything needed to get started. Could you lead me in the right direction please? Thanks!

Pouring into sand looks more difficult, since as you get to the top you can't really see because of the flames.
hope I'm the 100k subscriber!!
What kind of sand/clay is this?
Petrobond
Went to a antique mall found a 1829 half cent what do you think it’s good be worth in a low grade
Maybe in the $50-$100 range

Have You Ever Poured Gold If Not Would You Do That In The Future ?
Try to pour your own skunk rounds.
PCGS says......"there is some environmental damage there". and the egg is DEFINITELY NOT red or red-brown.
Rob ill take the skull and the helmet if you don't want them. Let me know man.
