I just adore how Mark and Jisung went for something totally different, a bit unexpected and definitely challenging. And the *storytelling*! Watching their human versions fight to survive and then get "killed" and "replaced" with the AI versions, I could feel the tragedy of it or their struggle and it really moved me. I absolutely gasped multiple times watching them and I'm so impressed by not only their execution and the shapes they were creating but also by the looks in their eyes and the emotion they bring across. Beautiful and so sad....
Mix & Max was such a good idea man, such awesome stuff. I genuinely love all of the ones we got so far but in my opinion Mark & Jisung have the best choreography yet. I don't think they're gonna go as viral as some others as they don't have a catchy Song but maybe it's just for the dancers and performers lmao. As a dancer myself I definitely appreciate it.

Its so intriguing and captivating. the dance, the facial expression, the acting, the music, and even the storytelling by the dancers, EVERYTHING WAS SO CAPTIVATING it pulls you in. makes u curious about the story they want to tell. I watched it the first time, and it feels too short. They're so amazing! and ofc HUENINGKAI!! he can finally showcase his dancing here and we all love it!!
the story hueningkai and yeonjun tell through their performance is actually about "the innocence that is tempted by the darkness and finally become one", which represented by the innocent child/marionnette being controlled/tempted by the devil. the story probably related to their latest album Temptation (if u see their concept clip, you'll also see the element of devil and temptation there).
Txt just really eats up storytelling and any concept. This performance follows their Temptation concept trailer out earlier this year! Highly recommend if you've never watched it.

Some fan theories theorise that jisung might be corrupted more, as he was shot in the head hence losing all rationality as a human while mark was just abducted. He might be able to fight it back, but jisung as someone who has completely been taken over is controlling him, hence you see mark getting controlled

I was personally very impressed by Mark and Jisung's MIX&MAX so I looked up some interpretations in the internet! Mark and Jisung are the only humans left in the world, trying to survive through AI's attack. However, the robots and AIs defeated them, so they also turned into AI. They gave up on their lives because they thought they would rather die than living as a AIs. So, throughout the video, you can see the lighting and dance moves are different with those two concepts. 1st one : red, orange lighting, more exaggerated face expression, and smoother moves like humans 2nd one : blue, purple lighting, no face expression like robots, and more restrained moves like robots Final : pulls out the wire from their body that was powering them to be Al and gives up on their lives
i don’t know if you caught it, but for mark and jisung’s mix and max, the whole time they were like AI everytime jisung’s eyes were visible you wouldn’t see him blink or even move his eyes! he didn’t even breathe at the end like he actually turned into a real robot or AI! :D super cool
