Worked and skied GLENSHEE in1968/69, still skiing fifty two years later (in AUSTRALIA) I should be in Canada right now and would be if it were not for COVID 19.
I would love to have seen Glenshee in 1969, good effort skiing fifty two years later! never skied Australia it on my bucket list :) Hope you get to Canada next year!
Glenshee looks pretty cool. I live just south of London and at this point I feel it'd easier for me to get to some snow in Europe quicker and easier. I may have to make the 9 hour trip up next season for sure! Do you live close?
Due to the complications of going abroad..... I have two ski trips booked over this coming season and one has already been cancelled so I’ve just calling it and just got myself a hotel booked about 10miles from Glenshee , fingers crossed for the conditions now.

It’s my local hill .i arrived in oz on hols two year back hoping to ski but the hills closed the day I landed .fuck 😂
Really hope we can drive up next year 🤞🤞🤞
Hopefully we can, just have to wait and see what happens 🙏
That's quite a good amount of snow considering we got not a single drop of snow in Aberdeen that entire winter.
If only the ski resorts were able to open this year ! Conditions would be amazing 🙂⛷️🏔️
Wow looks epic! Can you drive up there with a front wheel drive car?
Yes the carpark is full of front wheel drive cars, the car park is just off a main road 😁
@@Johnson_KB Great, thanks!!
I went there around the same time as you!
It was a great day 😁
@@Johnson_KB I really enjoyed it, cold and strong blizzards were there at the time but it was fun

Yes two hours away, much easier than a nine hour drive :( conditions are really good at the moment so would be worth the drive for a slide !!

Never been skiing in Scotland do you recommend?
Yes, but keep an eye on conditions and weather. It gets a bit wild at times :)
I hear the skiing is excellent in Glenshee right now, epic snow and no queues. Tows aren't running though...
