Outstanding. Nice and easy I will add a small tray at the bottom. Thx for sharing. My daughter is great at painting and drawing artist. Started out at the age of 5 years old. Now she's becoming really good and I will do what ever it takes to help her. I can buy this stand but the satisfaction of me as a father and making it for her wound be great. She'll never forget that as well
Thank you. She will love it and you’ll have fun making it for her. There is a link in the description below the video of plans I kinda went off of that may help you along too. Thanks again 👍🏻👍🏻
There is nothing more humbling than making an art project to your daughter. Congratulations 🎊🍾 on the wedding and fantastic work on the easel. Thank you for sharing
my stepdaughter has been begging for one of these for month's, i've never done a wood project and i was a little intimidated but this was very helpful!! thank you so much(:
Omg you remind me of a show I watched when I was younger of a guy who showed everyone how to build stuff that might be useful I loved him he was awesome
Congratulations!!! I tell ya, that guy...! That guy!!! Really cool project, and you made look ez!! Good luck with your daughters wedding!!! I’m sure it’ll be great.!!!
Couple questions, I know that have likely already been asked. A) is there a reason that I’m over looking for not drilling the holes for the top through bolt before cutting the 10 degree angles? Also what are the dimensions for the “cleat” with all the slots and what not.
Cutting the angle first allows you to send that bolt straight through. I not how you would without but maybe I’m missing something. There are free drawing in the description below the video. Thanks
When you are ripping the 2x4s and say "flip it and do 1 1/4"", are you flipping 180 degrees or 90? Just curious what the final dimensions of the legs are before moving on.
I used these just to get me started.....www.craftsmanspace.com/sites/default/files/free-plans-pdf-files/Lightweight%20tripod%20easel%20plan.pdf Have fun and Thanks 👍👍
This was great, very easy to follow along, you would of made a great woodwork teacher at school, well that’s if you weren’t already 😃 Ps, first time to your channel, great stuff 👍👍
Just sub. Need to build one for my wedding.lol. Wife need one. Thank you. What was the measurements for the holes to the end if the wood, for top and bottom?
@@TheMuzShop What was the measurements for the holes to the end if the wood, for top and bottom? And what was the length for the wood that hold the sign for top and bottom? Can you email me all the measurements? My email is saelee33@gmail.com. Thank you
@@saelee33 5/16 for the top where the 3 legs meet and 1/4 everywhere else, I think. Drill them out good and clean so the bolt slide in and out easy. But you can use whatever works or is handy.
@@TheMuzShop Thank you. I haven't bought any bolts and nuts yet. Just cut all the wood today and drill the 5/16 holes for the top only. Haven't cut the holes. Wasn't sure so I ask you.

Everything I've done so far in my career has been metric. Relearning measurements has been a pain lol.
Metic is so much easier 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why not just use 2x2s?
You can…. I just had some 2x4s laying round. 👍🏻👍🏻
Great job, but way too high tech for me. All I got is a drill, pencil, ruler. =P
