- This clip from John Eden isolates the tracks that made up Richard's song "For You" after a brief interruption from Mr. Bob Young. Its the shortest song on the album. At the end of the clip Eden shares memories of time spent with Richard in the 77 to 81 period that they worked together and the contact they had just a month before his passing.
As always outstandingly awesome and what a heartwarming tribute. Thank you so much. These clips are a real treasure!!

Quick query on the backing vocals. Who contributed the high parts in particular?
I was just going over this and its possible Bernie was in the blend but I cant say for sure.

Brilliant stuff, thanks again John. Always loved this song. Rick's voice solo'd out is just beautiful! And I'm sorry, but I think someone was chopping onions near me reading your memories at the end.
One question though, were the backing vocals (that took the 19 tracks) all just the band themselves?

Good question. I usually feel like I know who’s doing the backing vocals, so I’d be interested to know whether I’m right 🤓
On this album Bernie was around on occasions but I cant be positive in the blend he was on this. We did record the backing vox at The Marquee and I'm trying to picture who was round the mic.On the JS and NTL some of the harmonies where just him and Francis which made his voice character more obvious.

This is my favourite song on the album. These videos are great John so please keep them up. The whole remixed album is great. I’d love to hear of you can’t stand the heat remixed too.

Once again, thank you John for these amazing videos! I still find it amazing how there are people that are completely clueless about your remix of the Rockin' album! Poorly promoted and really should have been a standalone release. Would have been good to have a boxset, with scans of the Master Reels used as the Vinyl Disc Sleeves, and some copies of the studio tracks sheets for certain tracks inside, or all of them... They could have made a huge thing out of this, but sadly, that didn't happen.
