Splitgate was built with the concept of passing through walls at the beginning of the games conception, and even that game has bugs in specific situations. Knowing the Apex team and the fact that this is an after the fact inception, you can bet were gonna see way more insane bugs with this in the future.

this glitch is probably client side only, since your weapons stow and all that. what is probably happening is that the packet that says "apply the void shader+sound" doesnt reach you sometimes/ you should still be in the void in the enemy's screen
A cool thing about Alter's portals is you can put a wraith portal through it, which stays and allows you to go through walls even after Alter's portal has expired. Not sure if it's helpful in any way but yeah, figured it out with a friend by accident 🐸
Ive been seeing it happen when interacting with items that have multiple layers, but are connected. As in, if a box is behind a loot bin, theoretically, the portal should pop me out between the box and the bin, but instead, it pops through both, and its an instant phase. I also have an image of myself getting stuck inside of a wall at Wattsons Pilon, was trying to see if going back and forth between a sipline and her phase rope would cause anything to happen, and I was suck in the wall. Retried it probably 40 times and was unable to repro. I thiiiiiiink it may have to do with a person being in the position you're supposed to be in when you phase out, since it pushes you away from wherever you are standing if you're standing inside of another player. I guess was that someone else was on the zipline as I took the phase up, and t just pushed me back down into the ground as I was expected phase back
Worlds Edge: Phased through the glass roof and got stuck in the middle of the ceiling of one of the buildings in Lava siphon.. the far left one. I could shoot down but not up.
Not really a problem though cuz if you're paying attention to your surroundings you should be able to spot a giant cross between scorpion and hitgirl from kickass
it only seems to happens when the wall is thin enugh there is not time for the phase animation and it seams that some of the buildings are not halo inside like if even if its spowst to be halo seans this is a game they use blocks so its considerd as if it has no space in btween like the thin wall (2d) just front and back

Buff alter where she can bypass clif walls and make a portal that can go to ithe ofher side of the wall so the storm ring doesnt close in her tacial is usless on where we have to get to a opening to go to the ring it stupid buff her tacial mid season
i think the glitch is just a visual bug, it doesn't seem to be caused by anything and has been happening to me all day. just like how all characters are buggy off rip
Yeah I don't have a problem with her at all. In fact she's my new main. Her kit is awesome. And void Nexus saved me more times than I can count. Being able to enter even when you're knocked is a god send.

I figured it out in the first couple of minutes of trying alter out in the firing range. If you use a zip and jump right into the portal, you will exit immediately without visual phase effect (at least for me that worked). I tried multiple times on same zip same portal and had the same results.
If the portal is placed on ceiling and you get that line you can interact with, you go back and forth quickly threw the portals and when interacting with the line a second time either hold crouch or your interact key or strafe I’m not sure what exactly but you won’t go threw the portal you’ll just phase and stay on the same floor.
It doesn't matter when you have tens of thousands of Guinea pig streamers with no life to over-optimize the gameplay and find every bug for you for fucking free while they purchase content from the store as well lol. Its a no brainer, i blame humans every step of the way.

It's got some jank to it why couldn't they have just done what fortnite did? After everything fortnite stole from Apex you'd think they'd be okay taking something from them

It's not client side, because when spectating enemy kill cams this bug also happens sometimes(I had this occur at least twice)

It depends on how deep it is. If it's on the other side and it's not that deep then you just pass through. It's not broken.

Yeah so I popped through a wall and got annihilated while setting up a wall bounce cause I didn't go into the void. Respawn code go brrrr.

No it's only because the walls aren't that deep so you just pass through normally. It only phases on deep walls.
Also you can glitch her tac by just spamming it keeping you in the void
But then you won't actually be able to see or kill anyone so you'll just be stuck in the void missing the fun
