? ALL animals should be loved, not just the cute and cuddly ones
@@danielbrown1724 Which is why many rescuers save and care for even blind, deformed, legless, etc., animals and continue to until they are adopted into a loving forever home.
???
@@danielbrown1724 Did you see the one about the guy who rescued the croc who had been shot in the head but was still alive? He nursed it back to health and returned it home, but it followed him and wanted to be with him 💗🌵🐊
The husband not being a 'bird person' but the house being so well set up for birds is heartwarming.
He’s definetly a dog person lol
What an amazing family! How can you not love this sweetheart and leave her in a cage for 2 years?! It's beyond me. Thank you so much for rescuing Ginger and her flying friends!
i actually have nightmares of neglecting pets and leaving them in cages all alone. idk how someone can do that irl
@cimeii🕊️🕊️ …?
You never know why ppl do this. Mental illness, fear, disability. I try not to judge. I am happy they knew enough to surrender her to get the care that she needs
@@helenf.7221 Which is why having a pet should require a liscense
@@angelgriffin1849 my old rescue cockatiel was actually surrendered to me by a family who constantly kept her in her cage for 10 years… they very rarely took her out and she resorted to plucking and it became such an addiction for her. I took her out every day and gave her as much care as I could. The bond i had with her was unreal. She became attached to me and would even anxiously call for me whenever I left the room. I only had her for six months, since she was 22 and already had health issues, so she passed after a while of having her. I still appreciate every minute i had with her.
Ginger is a sweet girl. Those people are so kind to adopt her and give her a good life.
She sure is 🥰
Hate to burst your bubble, but that’s a male.
@@singleproppilot in the video they use she,her
@@prowlbeast1959 Maybe they don’t know or they just prefer to think of it as a girl, but that bird is quite obviously a male. Males have the brightly colored face and cheek patches. Females have less color on their faces and have distinctive yellow bands on their tail feathers. I owned cockatiels for 20 years and this is basic knowledge among owners to be able to tell the sex of your bird.
@@singleproppilot ah, i dont own tiels. You come off somewhat rude, I am a new bird owner myself, but i dont own a tiel
Ginger is precious. It's wonderful that she has found a loving forever home.

@cimeii🕊️🕊️ What the hell, why on this cute bird video? 💀
I post videos on my baby bird do you mind checking him leave a sub if you like him thank you fam!!
@Seven Inches of Throbbing Pink Jesus Same man, same :( Sometimes it creeps me out that more people dont notice that we are actually living in hell :( Or the creeps who wish there is some kind of afterlife ( and what exactly do they want to do there? sit back and watch the absolute horror that is happening here, in this reality? ) That kind of egoism scares me. Have a "nice" day man✌️
Whenever someone says "he's/she's not really a bird person" I allways think "hum..... riiiiiight.... you just haven't met your bird buddy" :)
birds are funny af i never had a pet bird but those videos and pictures though

Yes exactly....birds are just love....i have pet birds and i can't live without them....i love and take care of wild birds too...i'm a fully birdy person 🤩😊⭐
My mom was like this until I brought home 4 adorable canaries and now she’s the first one to take care of their every need ❤️
@Seven Inches of Throbbing Pink Jesus
Lmao 😂
What a sweetheart, love this little girl. She just wants what every one wants, love and a good home. She seems very grateful.❤❤❤❤❤
She's cute & sweet. But she is NOT a parrot, she is a cockatiel.
*** *** UPDATE*** ***
Edit: I humbly admit my ignorance, and thank the two commenters that follow me for prompting me to research my mistake. 🌹
FYI Cockatiels are (small) parrots.
@@msoperator510 It's true what Slacker Man says. You can tell because of their beak and feet (two toes point frontward and 2 backward. For whatever reason, these things seem to put them in the parrot family, even though they're Cockatiels.) Go figure, right? :-)
@@pursueliving 👍
Thanks, will look that info up.
@@pursueliving Because cockatiel is a species, and Parrot (psittaciformes) is an order. And the parrots share a common ancestor.
What a wonderful family with such kind loving hearts. You honor every living thing that comes into your life. What a beautiful example of how the world could be. 🤗💕
I wish that I had known, what I do today about animals, decades ago. I have always loved animals, but when I was younger there was less awareness of how loving, funny, intelligent, loyal, etc., they are. They were fed, played with, etc., but there was a tendency to forget about them and leave them on their own to do their own thing. There was no awareness of how much they need their human family's company, because in most cases we ARE the only other living thing in their lives that they can relate with and have life with. GOD created these beautiful little, and big, creatures out of love for us, to love and care for, and to be loved by.
@Seven Inches of Throbbing Pink Jesus One can dream. If we don't acknowledge and aspire to being the best we can what a sad, cynical existence. But I understand your point.
@@watchr740 We are all constantly evolving. You have evolved into a more empathetic human. Nice. 🤗
@@paul2019monte Thank you.
@Seven Inches of Throbbing Pink Jesus
Realism, the intelligent ones among us, understand how fragile our species's situation really is.
The less intelligent among us, are entirely ignorant of the reality of our situation.
Just think about how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of humanity is more stupid than that.
Which is why we still have the religious and flat earthers.
Ginger is absolutely precious, how could anyone not bond with her?!
She's a beauty, I had one for 13 years, Birdie passed from cancer under her wing. She had a heart attack during her surgery, amputation of her affected wing. Rip birdie girl...
Sorry for your loss 😞 I also had a parakeet while growing up that passed away after 9 years😭 But they're both flying in Heaven now
@@eb4682 they sure are!
I had grey cockatiel, who passed away after 23 years. But first one before him passed after 1,5 years, it was great loss , i was child in that time. So I know the feeling. The second one lived long life.
@@warrax111 Wow! 23 years? How awesome. ..
@@eb4682
This is another place where religion does a disservice to us.
The afterlife concept is actually really damaging to a society.
Firstly, it's one of the leading causes for suicides.
But what's worse, it denies people the tools they need to grieve, if you teach someone that when they die, they'll see their lost loved ones again. You remove the meaning behind that loved one when they were alive. It is much more sensible, to understand that the chances are, you'll never see your lost loved ones again.
True strength comes from accepting that, and taking solace in time you did have with them.
"they live, through you." - one very wise monkey, in the lion King.
Here's an example, Peter moves out his parents house after a destructive argument.
Peter then continues his life without his parents, and doesn't keep in touch.
Peter does this, because Peter also happens to believe in an afterlife.
He doesn't need to build bridges with his parents now, he can just do it when he dies and sees them.
Do you see the problem there?
"Religion poisons everything." - Christopher Hitchens.
How do you keep your bird in its cage for years? I couldn’t imagine my baby not coming out for more than a day. I’m so happy this baby has a loving home.❤️
I am going to hazard a guess and say, this family may not have known how to coax her out. They probably either never dealt with a bird before, never treated a bird as a individual being, or did not see her as family but property.
@@MLIrons Many people still think that birds can be kept in cages 24/7 and that all they eat is seed... :/
@@dragonfly9821: I don't doubt it. And I don't think the do it out of intentional cruelty, but ignorance on the maintenance of such an animal. It is no different than those who get things like turtles and snakes or some other exotic that require unique habitats, foods, and caring than a dog or cat or fish. The best we can do is just keep on those who want exotic pets that unless they have the environment, time, and finances to take care of such an creature, then do the right thing and get educated before they take them into their home.
I know I would love to have a pet snake, but I know that I do have the time, the room, or the environment that one would richly deserve to have.
Exactly...i have pet birds and they need their proper time..i have a freefly ringneck, she needs her proper time for flying and cuddling and sleeping...birds need attention, love and more time....they don't just need seeds....they are a life..a soul....they have their wishes and their needs that they want to get fulfil by their human parents...
my parrolet won't stay in his cage for 5 minutes

Cockatiels are wonderful birds!💗
this woman is an angel
@cimeii🕊️🕊️ bruh -_-
Awwwww, what a sweet birb. Give Ginger some scritches for me!
Cockatiels are the sweetest and loving pet one can have. They are very gentle too. It’s unimaginable that such a sweet bird is kept in a cage for years without social interaction and scratches. Mine come out daily and hang out with us.
Makes sense if the family who originally had her just did not know what to do with her. The specifics for looking after birds are different from that of a dog or cat, so to most, they just won't be able to properly look after one.
What an adorable little baby! Glad she has a home full of love now. 🤗😍
What a little sweet heart she doesn't let her low vision hold her back in any way I had a lutino cockatiel like ginger his name was sunshine and he lived for a little over seven years and to this day he still has a piece of my heart

Your story about Ginger and your son and his butterflies just touched me with its beauty. Thank you for sharing all that. I lost my little cockatiel of 31 years not quite a year ago and I really miss the little guy. They do bond with their flock and I'm so glad you will be keeping her. Beautiful.

The angels rescued & protected by this special lady are ALL so beautiful. Im so thankful theyre all very loved. But in all their beauty, this lovely woman is the most beautiful life in this video. God bless her selfless loving heart.💕🙏💕
You claim angels are real, this carries a burden of proof.
You claim a god is real, this also encumbers you with the burden of proof.
Belief without sufficient evidence is by definition an irrational belief.
Irrational beliefs lead to irrational actions.
A claim given without evidence can be dismissed without evidence, a lack of evidence for a claim is evidence against a claim.
She is so sweet and so are you and your family for caring for all these beautiful creatures.

Your god doesn't give a damn about animals, and you are grossly naive to think otherwise.
