Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, a place full of magic and millions of secrets and things to discover, thats why fastpass facts brings to you, 5 things you must do whenever you are in Disneyland.
We’ve all wanted to drive the Mark Twain Riverboat right? Well, we’ve got good new for you guys! You can! All you have to do if find a cast member before you board and ask them if you can be the lucky guest to visit the wheelhouse and drive the boat. They will take you into the second floor, where you will see a door with the words “PRIVATE” on it knock on the door and the captain will take you to a secret stairway where you will be able to drive the boat. At the end of the ride, you will get a chance to sign the guestbook, and you will also get a personalised riverboat pilot’s licence! How cool is that?
When you are at the railroad station, pay close attention and you will hear a morse code playing over and over again. What is this code saying? Well, it s the opening lines of Walt Disney’s speech on the opening day of Disneyland in July 17th, 1955.
"To all who come to Disneyland, welcome here, age relieves fond memories of the past and here, youth may sabor the challenge and promise of the future"
The mad tea party is one of the craziest attractions in Disneyland. But, did you know that you can control the speed depending on which tea cup do you get on? If you want to go faster you should get into one of the purple or orange tea cups, and if you suffer of dizziness and want to go slower you can get into the teacups that have hearts on them.
Disneyland is full of places that will give you free souvenirs and we’ll talk about all of them! But for now check this out! At the end of the Jungle Cruise, go ask a Cast Member if you can get a map. If they have some, they will normaly ask you to do a small task, like an animal noise, and then when you pass the test you will get your map!
Did you know that the haunted mansion has a secret tour? That’s right! If you ask a cast member nicely, they will take you to the back where there's a pet cemetery. It became so popular among the guests that some of the tombstones where taken to the front where we can see them while we are waiting to get into the ride. So, if there’s not much people in the park that day, ask a cast member and maybe you will be one of the lucky guests to experience it!

Just went in June, the cast members at Haunted Mansion don't do the pet cemetery tour anymore :c

Jackie Jones I went in June as well, and when I asked a cast member to take me behind the haunted mansion, they told me that they were doing a lot of construction in that time. A lot of rides and attractions were under construction like the mark twain riverboat, the firework show, and a few others as well.
I think the only one I knew was the Mark Twain boat. I'm excited to try some of these out when I visit in August😁

Actually my cousin worked there when i was little so i got to conduct it and it was amazing
My brother and I piloted the Mark Twain back in 1962.It was fun! I'm now 63 and still have the certificate.
I always ride the Jungle Cruise whenever I go and I never knew about the map! Thanks for telling us, I will check it out next time I go!

I love your videos but gotta point out that Walt's opening day speech was "All who come to this "Happy Place Welcome not "Disneyland Welcome" lol.
I was just about to point this out, especially hearing it over and over during the 50th anniversary Parade of Dreams when I worked on Main Street.

The cast members at Mark Twain River Boat, said they don't let people drive it anymore. In the rare case they do, its a Random selection. Bogus!!!!!

My daughter got to drive the boat when she was little. We were just standing there and the girl in the wheelhouse came and asked if we wanted to go in. Very cool, but I think my kid blew the whistle a little longer than they wanted her to. lol

Have a great time! :) Try to get to the park a little bit before it opens and then that's the first thing you should do! Run like the wind and go get those fast passes haha, but don't worry, I'm sure that you'll get them! There's lots of shows throughout the day! :)

#5: Asked last time we went, and they said it was closed for good.
Hi, thanks for you feedback! When we made the video the Mark Twain was still operating, and its going to come back when Star Wars Land is finished, so this tip, may not be useful right now, but it will still be useful next year. :)
Now, #3 is due to perception, don't spoil the magic! and #5 might have been due to the status of the park in that time or the cast member that you asked. Still, you can see some of the animal tombs from the line! :)

Went last month. Asked the jungle ride worker for a map and he said "are u an idiot? Use Google maps". I said really Bro? He said "do I look like a fucking jester?"
Then I punched him in the face and he had a seizure and people started screaming and we left

Kian Myers because that is exactly what the morse code says. We did not change that. We edited it to translate exactly from the morse code of the telegraph office. Also, language ✌️
