I loved my 2015 Camry XSE V6 when I bought it new nine years ago, but replaced it six years ago with a 2017 Lexus IS200t F-Sport, then a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport four years ago which I'm still driving today. My brother bought my Camry which he's still driving today (don't know how many miles it currently has) & my parents bought a new 2017 Camry XLE 4-cylinder in late 2016 that I recommended for them which now has 90k miles with no problems so far as expected.
0-60 in only 6 seconds, that's faster than the new Acura ILX with the new 2.4 L engine, a car that is 'supposed' to be sporty and fast, yet the Camry is faster ??? Put Brembo brakes on that thing and take it racing at the track.
I had one of these with the I4, good car, but the electric steering was so over-assisted it felt like a it might be a Logitech steering game controller. Absolutely no feedback from the road, a completely disconnected feel. The car would drift at high speed and you could not feel it from the wheel, only visually,
Boldly ugly. I thought the best looking Camry generation was from 2001-2006. Each generation thereafter has been a styling disappointment. Would much rather have the Mazda 6 - much more attractive, lighter, better handling and better MPG.
@@Holmesson It's not as if there weren't other comments that didn't get 'likes' either. Likes aren't my goal - I was simply expressing an opinion about the car's styling. I wasn't saying it was a bad car overall - just commenting on it's looks (and incidentally, I bought another Toyota model later that year). Realistically, why are you even replying to a comment made seven years ago?
I don't think japanese cars are advanced or cheaper. They are very conservative when it comes to tech. They are very late to games like DI, Turbo, Transmission, etc.
Just got a 2017 Camry SE.... Great car! Really enjoy watching all the retro Motorweek reviews as well. Keep up the good work!
My 2016 Toyota Camry SE has had very few issues and I love it! Very practical, reliable car you can buy.
i love my 2015 Toyota Camry SE
Great review. No complaints with my XSE V6 2017. Safe and reliable.

Good thing they did go bolder in their mid cycle refresh this year, cause probably next year Altima and Accord could do their refreshes
David Aubin you predicted their refreshes
I love those wheel on that grey Camry, the 2015 Camry XSE 4 cylinder has some nice looking wheels but I do like those a lot.
love me 2012 camry se v6!
A great looking sedan with solid performance and bulletproof reliability that will last a million miles.
XSE V6 sport is the one to get. Fast and comfortable
I have a 2016 Camry Special Edition, and it’s amazing!
I have the same vehicle in this review and I luv it!!
When you consider that it's a Toyota, this is a sweet machine
The V6 is the best feature on this car
Softcore soundtrack ftw?
Is there an XSE Hybrid?
No, there is an SE Hybrid though

An 8-speed is coming for 2018.

MrNuggetface I think the guys at MotorWeek probably was in a haste posting this... don't worry, they'll fix it...
Sadly, at the end of the day, it's still just a Camry.
.....thats like saying stuff. You did that.
Jay Santos Wouldn't surprise me. I drive a 2002 Escort sedan.
WTF is wrong with it being "just a Camry" ?
Sorry Not buying a sporty taxi
Go buy a Nissan
Go get yourself a Harley Davidson bike 🙄🙄
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Weeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeee all the way home
All these car reviews are bullshit. Whoever is in need of a car just test drive it and buy what you like.
Well, aren't you just a bright, sparkly ray of sunshine?
I used to love the Camry, now I think it is just so ugly!
the music in this video is horrible

There's a good reason your comment hasn't earned a single like in seven years.

@@craig2web Just a fan of the Camry (wife's daily driver) and giving you shit =P
No biggie 😀
Why do people keep buying toyotas? Doesn't General Motors. Ford or Chrysler have better and more reliable cars and trucks?
no.
Do you own a repair shop?
Shanmuga Sundaram
no.
Because Japanese cars are cheaper, more advanced, and far more fuel efficient. That's why.
