I don't know another company solving that exact issue for that price or at all. Imagine if you bought a quest 3 and you don't like the head strap. Would you buy what everyone says is the best strap on the market or a strap you know nothing about. Think of it that way, and also think how much you would pay for comfort. Would you pay 100 dollars .more for a more comfortable bed?
Companies rarely get anything right you think with all that money and resources they would make a solid device you wouldn’t have to 3D print more comfortable components 💀
Quest runs in android and with sideloading wich meta makes incredibly easy to to do you can run ANY android application on quest a most its apps also are on android

I personally don't like the ankermake printers because it's a 10 minute assembly and then you can start printing. You don't get much of an experience. It's good for people who think of 3d printing as some casual, random thing, but not a hobby, but not for people who want to learn to build and troubleshoot their printer to know what's best about it. Also, being able to use open source slicers, like cura, is also very useful. (I don't know if you're able to do that with the ankermake printers OR if you can, I don't know if it's even supported by cura.) Also, with the ankermake having everything already perfect prevents some people from learning about how some things actually work, like coming back to a failed print and having to learn about how your hotend works. Idk though. I think that it's best for people who think 3d printing is cool but aren't interested in how it works or people who already know a ton about 3d printers and want to try stuff that could be more useful or neat. Less play though

Yeah, I was a basic kid, and got the quest for Christmas. It took less than a month for my family to buy a different headband which is just a Velcro strap on the top and the back is a knob
@@cosmic3829 but the headset isn’t lightweight, which is exactly why the BoboVR strap is heavy as it acts as a counterweight so the headset as a whole feels more balanced
Something crazy about the Vision Pro is that the next one (Vision Pro 2 or whatever they call it) will likely be a fraction of the price due to advances in technology (and probably cheaper materials). They’ll likely fix many of the issues such as weight distribution. I’m hopeful to see something good come out of this.
I don’t think anybody thinks the band is their FAVORITE part of the vision pro. People like it but it’s not the only thing the vision pro has/does better than the quest 3. Super cool to see this option though. 3D printers unlock a whole new world

I've only had 2 VR Headsets the first PSVR and the Quest 1 (I got it literally right before they announced the 2nd so fml) and if I could get the rubber of the PSVR on my quest it would have felt so much better because the rubber of that was so comfortable compared to whatever the quest had
