INSIDE THE MIND OF PAK EP 3 FT. HANI: HOW TO PLAY SWORDSOUL | CRACKING A FULL YUGIOH COMBO BOARD
Dunno why these videos haven’t been getting more views but keep em coming, this is the best yugioh content I’ve ever watched
Cuz the last 2 videos were about braindead invoked lmao
This ones going well he deserves it
I liked the point on the "better have it" mentality vs Analysis Paralysis. As time ticks down, you can't risk them getting back to their turn.
In the situation demonstrated, you played into and around every known and committed interuption. At that point, if they have it off a random draw 1, they have it.
Especially at game 3 you got nothing to lose if you don’t play you take the L. I think it’s better to just play the hand your dealt and if they have the answer it wasn’t meant to be but obviously expect some resistance so you order your cards accordingly
Probably the biggest thing I’ve learned is reading cards from this. What they don’t take from draw cards tells you what they have. And what they have can often tell you what is hidden. Then you play your hand optimally. Using your cards in the right order and sequencing.
“Now keep in mind at this point in time our hand is extremely cracked” lmaooooo
When is BOAB coming back????
He has to let you attempt to crash tenyi in battle and use DPE to pop. That lets him survive the turn guaranteed if that’s the line of play you decided to take. He has to let you mess up.
You special light and he should banish with revolt play. Keeps the tri monster instead of ash bc he can’t die now and it gives him follow up.
You special earth and link into second tenyi and he judgments.
Mo ye = imperm then you continue through long but he gets another turn.
Then you can add light back, banish to get vishuda to bounce last back row(which he doesn’t have to activate now and can imperm before DPE returns) and then baxia bc taia in grave and the chixiao if you think the backrow was impermanence. Search blackout and I think that’s about it. You end on baxia, chixiao, blackout, and a unknown from mo ye. Not a terrible position but it’s a Game at that point and shouldn’t be in your favor bc we know he would have a imperm to negate chi and DPE can out black out and then he can make plays through kit.
People think Judgment is just a NO card, but forget you have to pay half. Against Swordsoul that's very dangerous. Long John + Supreme
Yeah there's a reason judgment is at 3 because pretty much every modern deck can push through 1 also. You can summon or activate the card again now. Judgment is only good backed by a floodgate. Rule of thumb only activate judgment when the payment is less then the battle damage you'd take.
@@GuessWhatHappened1 or if you’re protecting a floodgate which is your win con (which wasn’t here). But good way to think of it.
@@alucardygo4239 that's typically how you have to play with that card, or you'll likely get pushed.
As a swordsoul player I wish there was more of this one haha
I've been this Tri-Brigade player too many damn times with judgement lmao
If they had popped the verte and bearbrum with dpe going first, then the correct play would be to summon taia instead of moye, since then you can play around a drawn veiler off blossom. Otherwise, if they draw veiler and they don't have anaconda up, you are 100 off game. Using revolt to banish ashuna also makes a lot of sense from the tri player since they have imperm to deal with any swordsoul normal summon, and then judgment for any extra extender. I don't see how hani is playing through 2 imperms and judgment (and the drawn ash) with adhara, taia, mo ye, and longyuan.
Would love to see a video with Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade. Still trying to learn the deck and could use another perspective
I would love to see a video with sky striker
After seeing it's not a Sanctum, I'm guessing that the last set is an Imperial Order, Imperm, or Judgement. Mainly was guessing an IO. Something they would need to set if they draw it that wouldn't be flipped immediately.
Finally some swordsoul games. Im not tryna watch unga bunga invoked lmao
Swordsoul literally plays 12 aleisters
Really good video! Please do a video with Sky Striker DPE as the deck choice for a future video! So far we up to date with all 3 videos! Lets go!!!!
When he had 3 names in hand vs 2 back row: Wouldn't you longyuan pitch mo ye, get token (plays around judgment) vishuda bounce 1, then normal taia, eff make token, sync 8 first, then sync 10 as backup?
i miss this series
I'd be interested in seeing y'all break down plays as a trap deck player.
Can do that I play a lot of trap decks
Bro can you do one for bird up pleaseee. How to break boards with in engine stuff
If he had veiler though he veilers chengying and it's still not game. So either way veiler hurt, but I understand how chengying is better then long chi pass. Dig this series!
You need to feature Saul in one of these vids
I would like to see you playing Striker DPE!
Need more!
Check this out.....Ashuna + Adhara + Every swordsoul monster is broken by itself...But HE ALSO HAD SHITANA....Damn! Gg
i was beated in this replay but vs god hand i couldn t nothing ahahahah and i missed to not do apolla but was 2am at me aahahhaha
Yeah no worries bro you played nice gg
@@Paktcg thanks
If you aren't playing the Tenyi engine in your swordsoul what are you dooooing?
The only youtube series I really care pushing like button
He could've just let shthana attack, it still outs the dpe but you will live with floating dpe and celestial draws.
Not to mention the battle phase wasted
How did he revolt after judgement? Isn’t judge speed spell 3? Revolt won’t be able to respond to judgement. After judgement revolves it passes to Pak. Therefore Pak could activate vis than the opponent can active revolt.
Shout out to the homie hani!
When will you be uploading your infernoble knight deck?
Goddamn these vids just make me realize I am heinous ass at yugioh
Really liked this vid! Pretty insane to see you break that fucking board lmao.
Any chance for another Balling on a budget any time soon?
Swordsoul best deck 🔥🖤
Amazing
🔥
I’m thinking,
Couldn’t he have read the fact that you don’t have a quick play spell card that tributes a wyrm when you didn’t chain it to DPE? I feel like if you did have one that would be the moment to do it and since you didn’t you must not have it. Personally I would have imperm baxia. Is there a line where you win if imperm baxia and not Judgement?
Nope, dpe doesn’t target so we just lose the other card that doesn’t tell you if I don’t have the quick play
yes.... PAK talks about yugioh gameplay in his philosophy class
More invoked dogmatika please!!
This deck is crazy lol. Keep up the greatest competitive content yugi tube has ever seen🙏❤️
Prank-kids deck profile plz
Is there a reason to make the SS lvl 10 over Baronne here? His opponent should Nib if he drew it on the Long, but it just seems a little safer since Baronne over Prede is game with the Long burn.
if you imperm the predaplant they make apo search revolt lmao -avery
I'm going to my first ycs on January and these videos have been helping me out a lot, thank you very much for your work and please keep them coming
Do you have to declare effect of Tenyi before they summon from hand?
For their special summon, its conditional just like cydra but it's once per turn
@@yurifan122894 any official clarification on that ?
If there is a colon or semi colon then yes you have to activate it in hand and declare it so to speak, since the condition needs to be met for the summon to be applicable. If not you can just inherently summon them e.g you can special summon this card from your hand.
Why does matter that DPE was in attack for the water tenyi? I didn’t get that
Because u can crash monk into dpe now and trigger wateee to force out doe
@@Paktcg but that’s not too bad I think. Also the player ensures he lives for a next turn and still has revolt and other interruptions for main 2
@@fespinozacast I was looking for this comment. Though Hani and PAK played it out really well, the same thing can't be said about the Tri-Brigade player.
If he let the monk crash into DPE he was at no risk of getting OTK'ed on that turn and forced an entire battle phase for almost the same outcome. It does leave the SS players with all Tenyi's live in hand but he could have used his Revolt much more agressively afterwards to prevent Baxia access off of Tenyi's force PAK and Hani to play into Judgment much harder and have 2 Imperms for the SS engine.
Also this might not be entirely true but at that point Sanctum might still have been an option to let PAK and Hani waste more resources before locked the extra.
Let’s go
we need BOAB
Why was it over even if he had the second judgment? Because you run over verte?
Longyuan burn I'm guessing
Do phantom knights
He was respecting Heavenly too much probably why he didnt imperm the baxia
Best series to watch on RUclips! Now teach me how to side deck lol
Honestly it's pointless to think isn't sanctum just know it's an obstacle and try to force it out. If it's sanctum it doesn't matter regardless so don't think about specific unknowns too much
Why didn't he use his second imperm on longyuan? That would of stopped the token from coming out.
The whole effect is in hand…. Its effect is to special from hand along with a level 4 token. Nothing happens on field.
Gotta gravedigger for that guy
This was just easy though! Seemed liked the Tri Player didn't know where to hit swordsoul too much
First! Love your content!!!
I feel like Pak is the true mastermind behind Hani winning the YCS.
Dude would’ve won if he just imperm the baxia instead of judgement
Nice content .. can you do more content wit invoked decks and play throughs
Oh god no
BOAB when? :(
Helping people in 1v1s for money is kinda sus… 🧐
10 v 10 LMAOOO
20v20 bro we out here
Was I the only one that realized that he summon the synchro into a impermanence column so that card effect was negated. He still would have won though
Read imperm again
@@Paktcg I just showed I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh player lol my bad it's the spell/trap column idk what I was thinking
Imperm columns is for s/t only
Bruhhhhhhhh y'all jokers always mispronouncing the names I can feel my ancestors rolling in they grave
Your opponent played like trash, wasted his effs on the wrong card, and let you link summoned, when he should've summoned the tri-briggade monster to banish the monster you linked with.
I love how the game played out, so amazing to see a new deck (for me) playing like this. Can we have a full list? Would love to build a SS deck and have been looking through various lists
Can I still study this guide,1 year after?
Is it viable?
🔥
