I had the privileged of meeting him at the hotel he was staying at, just a wonderful man and he never once said ' NO' if you wanted his autograph or take a picture with him!! Just wished the other famous artists would take time to say hello to there fans & they gotta realize who made them famous!! Boxcar will be missed, & glad that I got to see him in concert or just accidentally bumped into him while he is waiting for his tour bus to take him to his next show!! R.I.P Boxcar, your job is done here and its time for you to go with the Heavenly Angels and take you home, and maybe we'll meet again!! 🙏

Bad when ya need security at a Boxcar Willie show. You can’ t trust people walking up to the stage in the middle of a show.Ask the guitar player from Pantera Dimebag Darrell. No wait you can’t. He was shot and killed onstage.
