No fucking way!!! Searched this vid, see your coment, this crushes me hard fella... This man was doing lots of things and enjoying life despite his health concerns. Now he's better than ever i guess. The boss, like Buster b Jones called him, for being the first man to reclute Buster professionally, is with the universe and guitar picking in our hearts forever. Stay well Walter. Thanks for sharing your love to Thom s memory. All the best. Lets keep the fires burning and pick some guitars.
I saw Thom , and his lovely blonde partner right after they finished a USO tour following the Gulf War. I thought they were excellent, but I never learned either of their names. Just lately i found Thom on utube, and I was so happy that I did. I also found video of them together again, and they were truly amazing. I’ve been trying learn the Guitar for umpteen years, and thanks to Thom I think I can do it now. I’ve always loved Chet Atkins, and I truly enjoyed listening to Thom talk about him. God Bless you “fThumb Picker” God willing I’ll see you on the other side ! ❤️❤️
Bucky Mitchell !thanks for posting this! it is really good!👍👍🎸 I always wanted to see Thom play live one more time,, and meet with him and visit with him again,,never got the chance. Rip Breshman🎸✨🙏🐦
Love this guy - huge talent. Mixed his sound down in New Zealand back in 1995 and was able to do him a favour. He returned the favour like a true gentleman.
43:30 "Happy Again"...I think it was written by Chet after a cancer free diagnosis.... Nice Tribute and wonderful rendition by Thom. RIP both.... amazing men in every respect.
I didn't know who Thom was but I was watching Chet's tape and he said Thom Bresh plays Happy Again better than anyone so I looked up Thom and he was playing in St. Augustine at the Gamble Rogers Festival and I took off for Florida and have been thumbpicking ever since.
I could have fell over when I fist saw this. I didn't hardly recognize him, man he lost a bunch of weight!! Then he explained what the deal was. Good for him. A great played for sure.
Thanks Thom wherever you are tonight! That show was fun to watch,I was needing some laughs after we all lost John Prine to that damned virus, you really are an amazing guitar player,GOD BLESS YOU SIR,LIVE AS LONG AS YOU WANT TO AND WANT TO AS LONG AS YOU LIVE!

No disrespect Paul. Evan Twitty was a great young musician but he had a way to go to achieve Breshmans' level of entertainment genius. I believe had he lived a long life he could have made it to a skill level similar to that of the Breshman. (He was already getting close) Sorry for your loss Jennie. RIP, Evan Twitty.
Better? Do you play? I doubt it. Evan and Thom don’t play anything alike. Completely different approach. Evan was a student. Thom is a stylist. You don’t like the style, that’s one thing. But better, worse? Evan was a student. Close your eyes when Evan was playing and you didn’t know who was playing.
So long Thom, I’ll miss you, your jokes, smile and music. 😢 all my heroes are going to heaven

One of the greatest human beings and guitarists ever. Love the man.❤
RIP Thom. You’ve brought me a great deal of inspiration and enjoyment.
Bucky, thanks for posting this video, he's gone now but the vivid memories of his talent are still here.
RIP oh Great One. Thom was a Bresh of fresh air.
There are fancier players. There is no player with more groove. Plus he’s courageous. I love this guy.
When your dad is Merle Travis, you're born with groove. As Travis said, "He's got that guitar gene".
Love your smile..Rest in peace Thom.
Beautiful brilliant. , a real entertaining musician. He will be missed by millions.
I first heard Thom play when I was a young man,,,,,now I'm 75,,,,,,Time!

RIP Breshman
I still miss my dear friend 😢😢
That was amazing. Thanks so much for putting this up.
Another great video Thom …..thanks so much
The world will still spin through space but it’s lost a bright light.
Surely miss cousin Thomas.
The real deal.
💖
Vårt tap er Himmelens fortjeneste. Rest in piece, Thom.
I like this guy. I should have been in Nashville long ago, but I was On the road with a shoe band. My tough luck, I reckon.
That first song cracked me up good.
Golden Thumb
You’re the number one picker!
Amazing 16 tons
Wat is that guitar looks super cool great guy cheers from Ireland 🇮🇪
I think it's a replica of his dad Media Travis' Martin that had a neck made by Paul Bigsby, or it might be the actual guitar.
20k views and only 319 thumbs up.... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?
Lol I found Jesus the same time ... and. Danny ray Smith will agree
Anyone know the song at 42:58
It is "Happy Again" by Chet. Chet wrote it after he had some health issues and couldn't play for awhile. ruclips.net/video/NyDza5Vs1qE/видео.html
I believe it’s called « Happy Again ».
What song did he play after guitar rag?
I believe it’s “All I Ever Need Is You” or “Marcel’s Thumb”, though I may be mistaken.
"Marcel's Thumb" or "Le Pouce de Marcel"
Cerulean. !! It’s actually different from teal. Thom could make a routine out of small talk.
What? Tom died?
Evan Twitty would've been better.
No disrespect Paul.
