Great video and great idea to keep track of how many times you use a palette. I would have loved the il makillage palette, it is so beautiful 😊 do you use single shadows? Ok got the answer 😂 thank you. I have whiskey business but it's a companion for my singles good grief I'm lazy about putting on makeup. Granted I can only at home. I did put makeup on everyday when I went to work though. Thank you for this, I need to put makeup on even on no filming day 😊😘💖😘💖😘💖😘😘💖💖
I love this video! I’m actually really surprised by the Sydney Grace palette because you were so excited about it. I totally forgot about the Milani palette but when I saw it at the top it doesn’t surprise me.
That one caught me by surprise too!! I think it ended up at the back of my drawer and I just forgot about it 😭😭 this video really reminded me of how much I like it though so I think I want to bring it in my next SMS rotation
Your lethal got that many uses?! That’s surprising to me. Love that you do this quarterly. I’ve been saving my numbers for the whole year to make a video, but quarterly sounds less daunting. Thanks for the inspo!
I was surprised by this too! I kind of made myself use it so I could gather my thoughts to review it, but then I found myself actually liking it more than I have before!
I pulled out the palettes and lip products I wasn’t using and put them in a box. When I’m choosing my makeup products for the day I try to pull them from the box. That’s how I get more use out of my palettes.
I don’t really use my Natasha Denona palettes because I find the formula hard to work with. Do you powder your lid before working with them? I like that you track your palettes by usage.
I use my Mac Painterly Paint Pot as a base before adding the lightest shade of a ND palette all over the lid. I then add my crease shade and blend before tapping the shimmer onto the mobile lid with my finger. I will use a pencil brush to add powder liner too. I also really enjoy the cream to powder formula. I have mature eyes.
@@kathleenmoortel5449I’ve just watched a ND tutorial where she advises using a fluffy brush when applying her shadows. She has her own channel and it’s worth watching her apply her own shadows on models and practising. I learnt to apply my makeup at the Bobbi Brown counters at Department stores. The assistants are always super helpful. There is also a great Video on how Bobbi Brown applies eye shadow - easy steps. I also learnt a lot from Sinead Cady’s channel The Makeup Chair.
I usually always start with a light eyeshadow shade all over the lid no matter what palette I’m using. I agree with you about Natasha denona’s formula. Sometimes I struggle because most of her matte shades are really pigmented. Sometimes I get more depth than what I was looking for
I really like the idea of ranking based on how much you’ve used each palette.
Thank you! I’ve enjoyed it for the last few years

I just used the Rose Quartz and yes Energized is a beautiful shade. I
So dimensional but so wearable at the same time!

@@Gnv-q2mthanks for sharing your tips! I’m a makeup beginner and while my skills are improving they are not quite at the level I want them to be.

@@Gnv-q2mI follow The Makeup Chair too. I’ll check out Natasha Denona’s channel, too. Thank you for your helpful suggestions.

nice video! not super important, but "Cartagena" is pronounced car-ta-hay-na. It's a city in Colombia!
Thank you!! I always struggle when speaking in English to pronounce Spanish words correctly but I’ve made a note to make sure and work on this 💙
