      Pro-russian locals don't know who shelling into their houses but as always blaming Ukraine. Do you want to know why? Because they are Russians, but citizen of Ukraine. There is a lot of Russians in Ukraine. Stalin settled Russians into empty houses of Ukrainians before and after WW2. Russians stayed there untill now. The same is in Crimea.

      planc7on Did you follow how ATO was going on in the region? If you would -you see bu self...up till 23 August-just before russian "help" Ukrainians was beating shit out of those gangs in east,carving up their controlled territory,and was clear as fight goes on as it was Ukraine would be soon clear of terrorists.That was just because the most of Chechens and other voluntaries from russia was dead or gone back with what they earned as mercenaries and looted...same time no new ones signing up and no locals supporting the cause-remember what one of leaders said there"i cant believe that is not possible to gather even 1000 voluntaries in region with 5 million people" That alone should be making clear were problem is coming from...
      And then how situation changed as shells was stared to fly across Ukrainian- russian border and reports about tanks and troops coming across it too- you can look up,there is images even from satiates. And captured russian troops? Tanks T-72 -the type Ukrainians did not have at all-so cant be captured ones.
      How would you explain me that? Were the rebels suddenly got tanks and more people? Even in areas clear of them -just right beside russian border, like Novoazov.

    When this conflict started, everybody said that Ukraina was a sovereign state and no outsiders should tell them what to do. I believe that a sign of sovereign state is that they can stand their ground if they wanted to. I have come to the conclusion that ukrainian army has gotten their training either from Donal Duck magazines or CoD with cheat codes. It's a discrace that the army of a "Sovereign state" cannot put the rebels order.
    I don't know and that's why I ask: Has there been a total mobilization of the ukrainian army or are they still going with the semi-version-of-the-total-mobilization-and-not-taking-it-as-seriously-as-they-should-be.

    • @fasiistyrer
      @fasiistyrer 10 лет назад +14

      opmdevil You're fucking stupid if that's what you think. It's very, very difficult to put down rebellions. Just look at America in the Middle East. The worlds mightiest military can't suppress a group of farmers in Afghanistan, known as the Taliban.
      Guerilla warfare opponents is near impossible to defeat.

    • @opmdevil
      @opmdevil 10 лет назад +3

      Frederik Sørensen No. Ukraine has shown a complete lack of initiative and show of power during the the duration of the crisis from the get-go. They did nothing in crimea and lost that piece of land. They showed complete weakness during the beginning of the east-ukraine situation and it continued for months. They mickey moused around without any real sign of any initiative to get the situation under control. The opposition is rebels - the ukrainian army should be the nationwide violence monopoly, meaning the military. They should be able to do something else than absolutely nothing. How I see it, the ukrainian army is extremely badly trained and badly equipt. And like I said, have they completely mobilized their army?
      The Taliban has the advantage of terrain and RoE. Ukraine doesn't really have that excuse.

    • @Tabak419
      @Tabak419 10 лет назад +2

      It's actually "semi-version-of-the-total-mobilization-and-not-taking-it-as-seriously-as-they-should-be". :)
      I guess it's not as simple. First of all, it's obvious that it's not a "rebels". We already know(after Crimea) that "local self-defence"="russian troops".
      Besides, it seems that ukrainian government is not that interested in finishing that war after all.

    • @opmdevil
      @opmdevil 10 лет назад +1

      Tabak419 But they didn't know anything of the sort during the time. Russia won the intimidation war in crimea and that's why they got it (crimea). I haven't really read the news on the fact recently but when I still did, there were no evidence of having russian attack force on crimea. They had some vehicles from the russian special forces, yes, but that doesn't mean that the men were russian. They were wearing masks. There are two reasons why you would wear a mask: One -you don't get recognized as a russian, two: you don't get recognized to be not-russian. You get my drift? If I give you my car and you drive in it with a mask on, it doesn't make you me. And Ukraina bought that bluff and rest is history. Army and their special forces were ordered to stand down and cowardly stay in their bases. Ukrainian army wasn't prepared to have any kind of armed conflict ever - they had the military just for the show, nothing else. East-ukraine proofs that, it's ineffective and they've had major losses even they should have the equipment, training and manpower advantage on their side.
      Kiev is putting too much emphasis in whining and bitching about stuff instead of doing stuff.

    • @thatsnotagoodidea
      @thatsnotagoodidea 10 лет назад +2

      opmdevil Ukraine could not show power. In Crimea all of it's military bases were surrounded by heavily armed well trained and unmarked soldiers. Ukrainian leadership was hoping to avoid war with Russia. A war they knew that they could not win. Ukraine calls the enemy terrorists. Even though they know that they are Russian. A semantics game in the hope of avoiding direct war with Russia.
