Hello everyone, pro tip from a turkish person here. Thank you for the video, it has some great points. If you're planning to come to turkey I'd suggest choose regions and not try to do all at once. Turkey in general has so many attraction points and must-sees. It has a long rich history of different cultures and their effects on the area. For example the Mediterranean region (the Riviera?) has amazing beaches, camp sites, lots of nature activities (rafting/hiking/swimming etc). The Aegean region is more likely the same, slightly colder weather, closer to Greek culture and similar structures (as mentioned Ephesus). Pamukkale and Cappadocia are more in the center (totally different cities). On the Eastern Region you have Mount Nemrut and the statues on top of the mountains. The region is affected by so many cultures (Selcuk/Roma/Persia/Ottoman etc). Oh and amazing food(!). The Blacksea region has so many forests and tall trees and old monasteries and Turkish houses etc. My point is, overall Turkiye is a wonderful place to visit but you should plan your trip according to what you desire and get the full experience rather than hitting a few main spots. Thanks to everyone who managed to read this long comment 🎉 Feel free to ask any more questions 😅
Thank you! I am visiting from the U.S. next month. I am worried about bringing prescription medications with us that a family member needs to take. I read that this is not allowed to bring to Turkey. 😮
Yes. I have been going every year for the last 3 years. And planning to go again next year. I have been to many different countries, but Turkey is a country you can coming back to different parts, and the same areas and you will always be delighted
Hi I am from İstanbul and I just want to say it doesn’t snow here anymore because of climate change and last time we got snow it was two years ago and it is considered a miracle
I also want to say that you don’t have to cover you’re hair or shoulders in public, just in religious sights, you can where anything and you don’t have to worry about visiting as an unmarried couple, some people have asked Google if they can stay in hotels and unmarried couples or show affection in public, this is totally allowed. Also Turkey has a lot of historical sights and museums not just ruins of towns, also don’t swim in the Bosporus, it has a strong current and is dirty
Just a heads up taxi drivers tend to scam tourists so I recommend public transport, here in İstanbul use the ferry system its a beautiful journey and worth the money. I Aldo recommend that you visit Kadıköy in İstanbul, it is a bit crowded but still has very nice locations, its also like a hub for pop culture, you will see some manga and anime themed shops in the streets, I recommend Gerekli Şeyler and Köstebek, my daughter loves them I also recommend you try pastramis in Deli Rita, I know they aren’t Turkish food but they are just as good

Turkey is a multifaceted country. If you buy a package tour and spend the whole vacation in a hotel, you will never know her. Travel on your own, get deep into the country. And she will reveal to you her real authentic hospitality, culture and traditions.
So there are a few, Rhodes being the most popular. They do have boat tours that take you there. I would suggest doing them all at once if you can because each time you go from Turkey to Greece you have to process Immigration. So while in Greece do the Greek Islands and When in Turkey do the Turkey beach towns. But yes its worth it to plan for those islands.
Very gorgeous place and the food looks amazing. My fear is the crowds and I'd be super pissed about the atm issue. Also sporting around a lot of cash not so good if you get jacked but that goes for anywhere on the planet.
I am currently Sir Applying gor my Turkey Visa planning to visit and celebrating my Birthday in Turkey. Tha k you for your video. It means a lot for a firts timer like me. Sir apple pay is accepted in Turkey???
Trains go all over Turkey, I have been on them, and they were not filled up. You make it seem like there is only one short route. And you pronounce so many things wrong, particularly Ephesus. And hotels? We paid way way less than you mentioned for amazing hotels, all including breakfast. All of our places were $50-$60 /night.

You are so right, as a Turk, I agree. Erdogan is a dictator and there is nothing we can do. But the people are very kind people, and we are aware that we have this problem, we can't do anything, I hope Turkey will get better soon, this is our only hope.🇹🇷🙏
Greece is three times more expensive compared to Turkey. Finland and sweden is safe haven for the pkk terrorists. The elections will be held in 8 months and there will be true democracy.
There would be no problem if Finland and Sweden would not support the terrorist organization Pkk. But these countries support this terror organization. I ask you why do these countries support the PKK? How would these two countries feel about Turkey if Turkey supported a terrorist organization that had been terrorizing Finland and Sweden for 40 years?

Amazing
It's interesting for him to say that is a safe place. The people there are religious, mainly Islam so crime rate is extremely low
Funny, I see all those displays in those stores in the bizarre and wonder , who puts all that stuff away at night? Lol 😆
They lock the whole Bazaar down, its inside of city market gates.
You can get an airbnb or hostel for $20-30
the looks yummy
Can we do drone photography? Any permissions/license to be taken?

Yesss! English is the second language in Turkey🇹🇷😊🙏
Actually the 2nd language is Kurdish. Especially if you travel to the eastern half of the country.
We like to think that we do. But not very much. Depending on the region we can find someone who speak English for you
