The American way to cook bacon is to leave it in the pan until it starts to turn stiff and crispy. Jamie is merely enjoying American style bacon.

Prayers for you and Sherpa. My cat turned 20 this month, and I carefully monitor her. She is on meds for health issues and eats wet and dry prescription cat food and is monitored by her vet every 3 months. Of great importance in an old animal is having a good appetite which is something both Sherpa and my cat share. You are a great pet parent. Hang in there!

Glad to see Sherpa still asks to go out. When our dog was that age he started doing it in the house. Border collie/ Australian Shephard. Miss him dearly. We now have a corgi/st. bernard who is now 11 years old. Still acts like a youngster except maybe sleeps more.

Hubby says that if you put one quarter teaspoon of baking soda per day in one serving of wet food, it will help keep his teeth clean. He did the same with our first dog and she not had white teeth, non-smelly breath, but also no cavities for the 15 years we had her. Good Luck with the surgery. Blessings.

It's his yard Jamie. That yard is part of his soul. He needs that large, clean, private space to R&R, to dream, find his treats and patrol his domain. Then theres the rides, the walks, the adventures, all packaged to his gait, his comfort and organized by you Jamie, and your part of his heart. His heart beats along side of yours, and Sherpa happy when you are. So its going to go well tomorrow because the discomfort will be gone, and he's going to get the best post op TLC from you. It's a testament to your mutual love that Sherpa is in the excellent shape/health he is in. You and Boo are excellent humans fir your doggos.
