CBI Magnum Force Chipper 8400 producing biomass for CHP

The CBI Magnum Force Chipper 8400 is one of the largest chippers you can find. An infeed of 120 x 120 cm (47” x 47”) and a 1100 hp engine makes it extremely efficient. Here you ca see it producing wood chips at wood terminal. It's produced low grade timber which has too low quality for any use in saw- or pulpmills. It's wood that is affected by rot, bugs or just wood too dry. The biomass will be used in big CHP plants för district heating in a city. The plant produce both heat for domestic use bit also electricity for the grid.
