wow Jody, just received my order from Weldmonger.......super fast, I cant believe how
careful the packing was...and those electrode holders are super tough, I purchased
a few of the ones you were originally selling, these are much nicer........thanks for the
stickers and kind note.........I highly recommend purchasing from Weldmonger, your
paper work and notices are as good as amazon........Cheers from Orlando, Paul 'Paulie' Brown
@@ypaulbrown thank you Paul
No nonsense, no shtick... Just Jody laying down knowledge like he's laying down a bead.
Jody is an amazing instructor and his videos have been invaluable to my welding journey!
Always a lesson to be learned. Thank you JODY! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hello dear teacher Jody.
Always amazing to see you
I try to be welder like you.
To be an expert welder and to reach back to people at the very start, learning the basics and first steps, is a comprehensive understanding to be highly respected. Master these rudiments and you will be well on the way to being a good welder, with everything new coming in on a firm solid foundation. I wish guidance like this were around when I was belatedly finding my way into welding. As a commercial welder I can tell you - yes, yes, yes, this is everything about being a welder. Coming to site, looking at the job, saying what you need, what has to be different from their suggested spec., etc., etc - here's putting you on the way. I have worked on marine civics where not only all challenges of doing high quality welds in harsh conditions but also having to dodge in and out of the jobs with the tide - and what is being shown here is the bedrock of being that welder.
thanks for the info Jody . Passing it on. Fred.
Just when I wanted to search this channel for 7018 videos!
Thanks for the video Jody ❤❤❤.
That little blurb right there could possibly be the best advice I have ever seen on flat fillet welds to make it easy for a struggling beginner. Or a frustrated occasional welder who simply just gave up and blobs it in there. Well done Jody
Always awesome information and helpful hints, AWESOME!!
Welding god. This man got me work with what i learnt of him. If ever in the UK cody hit me up. Your staying at my place!
Excellent video
Always interesting even for veteran welders thanks jody.
Another good one by Jody 🤘🏾
Jody, I wish you were in northeast Pennsylvania instead of Florida… I could learn more from you than what I already know about welding from you.
Jody, your workshop looks like mine...busy! As always, much appreciate your videos, Jody.👍👍

Merci
my name is job p george i am from kerala in india i have completed x ray welding course but no major perfection can i work under youSeeing sir's welding, I also want to, so can you help me
7018 is drag or weaving rod??!
we only have a stick welder , can i use a 7018 to replace a bucket cutting edge , what 7018 rod should i use or are they all the same , thank you
Google "Hard Facing electrodes"
It's too big a topic comments section.
Find yourself some hardfacing rod and build it up with it. 7018 can be used as a buffer layer between parent metal and hardfacing.
@@Fogyt121 That's great thank you for the reply
