- During her recent trip to Australia, i-D spent the day with St. Vincent at the Sydney Opera house. Between exploring empty theatres, backstage secrets and quiet corners we caught up on the latest incarnation of the artist. The longtime industry favourite introduced us to the themes of her new album, talked designing a gender-neutral guitar, and threw in an impromptu music lesson.

Not in this comment section particularly, but I have noticed that people criticize how comfortable she is with being sure of herself. I see men in this industry have way higher egos and they are usually not attacked. But for a woman to know how amazing she is seems to be an issue. Annie Clark has infinite reasons to have an ego

I see how men around me react negatively towards women who posses any power and confidence. I fully believe that if you're a heterosexual male who wants to someday be in a relationship with a woman, then you owe it to women to try to be a little more positive in how you see them and interact with them, and we're more alike than than those men would like to admit

First time I heard her was at Gov Ball. I never loved an artist that much after watching a live performance for the first time.. sooo good.
A woman of many talents. Incredibly infatuated by her. Extremely strong and exudes confidence. The way she described her previous work in those simple words were exactly how I felt about them. I love this woman so much.
I just watched an interview of her in 2009 before the release of Actor, and it's incredible to see her transformation from a humble indie rocker to this art rock queen
Probably more of a fan of her lyrics than her music, but this is the first time I'm seeing her actually talk and she's really sweet and looks like an interesting person. Also, this video is shot beautifully.

man I fucking love her guitar.. especially the all black one.. just wish they kept the neck rosewood event though they are painting it! Thats probably the main thing I like about her guitars! Nothing beats a rosewood fretboard and neck! Especially gunstock oil finished....... Now I just wish it wasnt around 2500 bucks where i'm from haha.

Fantastic guitar player, songwriter and singer. That signature guitar is awesome St. Vincent = the most fun artist you’d want to hang with. Funny and down to earth. One of a kind
