I'm glad to read that I'm not the only Christian who watches the show and it isn't effecting their faith. At the end of the day it isn't a real show and the benefits is that doing right or wrong isn't all black or white.
If you aren't able to go through contrast and duality and stay with the same faith, specially if the contrast is based on a show, your faith is weak af. There are too many paranoid religious people. I'm also happy to not be the only one too.
@alice hatterz I believe in a balance between both. As I see it we are on this Earth and plane of reality to experience contrast and find out own path to our purpose and God. Duality is needed in order for things to exist, nothing in this world can exist with the absence of it's opposite. Sometimes you need to do wrong choices and mistakes in order to find your true path and really find god, sometimes people gets too lost they lose faith and get blind. But for me that's the purpose of free will, learn to do good for ourselves, not because someone forces us and experience a variety of contrast. Life is like a school, a test. It might help you find yourself or lose yourself. Learn or get lost. I don't know if I explained myself right...
@alice hatterz my philosophy is not like yours at all. Many religious people see evil everywhere. I see good, my main focus is myself and my main opinion is based on my experience. The only thing I know and my main philosophy is to be the best version of myself and treat others as I want to be treated, do I always succeed? Naw, I'm human, but I do my best! Maybe cause most of the people I know is not that bad and because when I see bad the main thing comes to my mind is *I do not want to be that* . The Idea of duality didn't come from this show but life itself my thoughts and different books, different cultures. That idea of evil everywhere is what keeps evil around, that focus to sin and humans are sinners is the most harmful mentality humankind has faced. I see heaven as a state of being, almost imposible to tune in 100% in this 3 dimensional plane of existence but you can still align with good and peace on Earth. Heaven an hell can be experienced on Earth, but people is unaware cause they have been taught you will only be happy once you are dead. Earth is terrible and so are humans. No heck! God gifted you life and free will, Earth is abundant and beautiful, be thankful of your gifts and appreciate this beautiful place where we live. Don't live sick and make it sick. The sin mentality is like a virus, the more you think about it the worst and aweful you see how the world and people is. People who tells you life is unfair, you came here to suffer, go to hell are the ones bringing hell to Earth. People who is aware how a treasure the Earth is, how contrast is necessary for our growth and it's hopeful and loving towards others know heaven on Earth. For me this is just a show and what I took from it were the things I liked and brought value. The rest I may not even bothered to pay attention. I know what you say but different people different reactions. I liked this show as a person who is terrified of evil/horror/scary stuff because of the topics they talked.
As for what you said in heaven there is no evil, remember Lucifer was God's best angel. And for the first sin, Adan and Eve were supposed to be perfect and altho that they also sined. But however, if I started to talk about my beliefs I could write a book lol.

But I do not want to, so yeah I know it exists and I choose to have the less contact I can with it. You are not being "real" you are projecting your negative point of view on the world and receiving so. I am Christian cause I follow Christ, how funny is it that everyone believes other ppls faith is false cause they don't match theirs. That's all I have to say. Well, Adan made Lily runaway in the Eden and his son ended up being a murderer. They weren't such a perfect family.... About the old testament I honestly think it's a great story book with a lot of missing information. They took part of it from Sumerian scriptures. And is all about interpretation. Keep going with your vision of the world, it's not mine.

As a Catholic, I have to tell you that you should not be watching this show. It's not okay. Listen to your conscience. If Jesus were sitting next to you would you be okay watching this with him? No. - Be careful of what kind of media you are consuming, it has an effect on your soul. Remember the devil is real, hes influencing our culture, and hes a liar. This show is not okay.
Also these priests should be condemning this show not helping Netflix support it. They are probably not even real priests. No priest I know would think its okay if they watched it.

There are so many gems in the first few minutes of their commentary!
Love how insightful they are about Sabrina being almost a parody of religion, but also hilariously down-to-earth about it being a TV show and not an attack on their faith. I'm not religious, but with how funny and insightful these men are, I would actually be interested to sit through one of their sermons - I don't think they'd be dull at all, they'd likely be highly relevant, peppered with humour and very engaging.

I’m a proud open minded Catholic and I love this show. When I was younger I loved watching Harry Potter (still do). I was told by a closed minded person that it was ‘Evil’. I asked my youth priest at the time if Harry Potter was ‘Evil’ and he replied with “most definitely not. It shows the difference between good and evil”.
You don't have to watch Harry Potter to be shown the difference between good and evil lol. The Bible is there for that.

It’d be interesting if they did this with Wiccans or pagans. My mom is wiccan and identifies as a witch but she loves the show. But I know that some wiccans and pagans find it offensive.

I am a Christian and have watched both seasons of this show. I found the first season more chilling than the second. It is a good show, however, I still cring when they do or say anything that exalts satan. I would not want to stand before God one day and explain why I muttered those words .... Even if it was just for a acting job.

Edit: Like the show Lucifer. In that show, he was not seen as a bad guy, instead he just punishes the evil. He knows that innocent people does not deserve to be punished. While in our belief, Lucifer was seen as an evil person who makes us sin, but really, it's us humans who makes those sins, Lucifer's just there to punish us when we're dead. We blame another for our sin. Well why not blame ourselves for our sins? So it's kinda eye-opening when you watch those series. Lmao I'm sorry if I went from Sabrina to another show, Lucifer. I just can't stand people who takes these series seriously.

Hey, if it helps, in the latter episodes of season 2 there are cringey scenes like they were rushed acting or rushed directing it. Overall you'll like the plot twist.
