    about these romantic guitars, they look alot smaller than the modern classical guitars... But I am starting notice that the sound from these smaller bodied "romantic" guitars are more beautiful than modern classicals. Am I imagining things or do some of you agree?

      +STIZEN9 you are totally right. But these early romantic guitars sound even better if you play with gutstrings and without nails.

      +STIZEN9 The music of that period sounds much better on the instruments they were written for. The sound difference is quite subtle but it is real.

    Very good, interesting to hear Aguado played on a contemporary instrument. I'm finding the early 19th century music a lot more convincing on a period guitar.
