This dress is beautiful. I have watched so many of your videos recently and i cant believe your channel isn't bigger. You have the perfect balance of information and inspiration. You are definitley my new favourite sewing channel.
Urgh... it's so gorgeous! I can't believe you found the exact fabric, what an incredible score. I love this style of video, and I love sewing like this too. It's such a satisfying challenge, especially when you can change elements from the original to make it suit you better.
The dress is perfectly adorable and summery - shame it’s still jacket weather in UK, but your trench coat matched well! I am slightly tired of my coats this year and just want to put them them away until Autumn!
Omggg I'm so happy you made this 😁 it was the last dress I made with a few adjustments. I love all your videos and I have been binge watching your channel lately. We have a very similar style and I love the way you explain all the steps very clearly in your videos.
Whaaaaaat, that's an UNREAL find- I can't believe you got the exact same fabric! It looks divine- such a perfect summer make! Also- I'm soooo happy that you're still hoping to make the halter dress with the floral satin! I personally think it will be a match made in heaven! 😍 Can't wait for next week's vlog- really loving the new style of content!!
Thank you so much 🥰 I know it’s crazy, I still can’t quite believe it myself! Thank you for confirming my choice - I also think the neckhalter will look great and can’t wait to get sewing on it! 🪡 Hopefully I‘ll be able to share the result soon 🤞
I love the fabric and really like this kind of videos (I mean, I love all your videos, your channel inspires my makes and I always learn something new! ❤). I would love a separate video on Lining 101 - I always think about making a lining for my dresses but then I get stuck on how to add it in neatly! Looking forward to more makes 😊
The fabric and design are beautiful.I love the way you explain your process and how to alter any errors. What was the lining made of as it looked very fine? I think your original fabric for the wedding will look stunning and I am sure your mum will agree once she sees it.
Thank you Maureen! I am also convinced that the silk will look great on the dress, can’t wait to make it now! The lining was simple viscose lining, which I like to use because it is breathable and only a thin layer underneath, so hardly noticeable ☺️
Oh my God! You look amazing in that dress! 😍 Fate wanted you to find the same fabric. In my opinion I liked your version better 🥺. I didn't quite understand, but where did you go there were dresses from the Met Gala from last year? 🤔
Thank you my dear! ☺️ I love the outcome so much! It's an exhibition called Crown to Couture in Kensington Palace - they like the fashion theme as Princess Diana used to live there, they even had an exhibition on with her dresses a while ago! It was fun, I would recommend :)
I looove "I see it, I want it, so I made it" It better for budget, sizing, and other edits. Sewing means I can basically have ANYTHING I want. I don't have to deeply sigh and wish. I can just do it.
Hey, thanks for watching! I don't unfortunately, I am pretty new to digitising sewing patterns myself so wouldn't feel comfortable trying to teach - I learned using different YT tutorials, This is Kachi has a great series on digitising and grading patterns!
Subscribing. I swear when you showed the 3 photos in red dress on the couch I thought you meant you copied that red dress that Dakota Johnson is wearing…then realised it was you…or was it? I still think that was Dakota Johnson.

Thank you so much, this comment made my day 🥰 I‘ll keep on going then!

Thank youuuuu so much 🥰
I still can’t believe I found the fabric, it’s those serendipitous moments I love 🙌
I look forward to seeing the wedding guest dress in that super cool silk
Or tbh anything in that silk, it’s so funky!
Thank you! I also can’t wait to make it 🪡🙌
You are amazing!
Aw, thank you so much ☺️
Dress is so pretty. Awesome.
Thank you so much! ☺️
Wow!!! 😍 I am a begonner and you are very inspiring! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much! ☺️
As you’re in the UK, I didn’t realise until recently but you can actually get sewing clips from Hobbycraft
Thank you, I‘ll definitely check them out! I think they would be handy to have

Oh my, same here 😅 I was waiting so hard for the sun to come out on Sat but it just wouldn’t happen. Soon though 🤞

Thank you so much, that’s very kind of you ☺️ I‘ll have a think about a lining video! I‘m sure that would be very useful for a lot of sewers 💡

It’s one of my favourite things about being able to sew, and these projects are such a good way to practice my design eye too 🪡
Hi, I’m new here. Do you have any tutorials on how to digitize patterns?
Hey, thanks for watching! I don't unfortunately, I am pretty new to digitising sewing patterns myself so wouldn't feel comfortable trying to teach - I learned using different YT tutorials, This is Kachi has a great series on digitising and grading patterns!
@@ThrillsandStitches great thanks
Just curious..the quality is coming up only as 360..is that because it’s a new upload?
Yes unfortunately! It’s taking much longer than usual to process HD, I will have to keep an eye on it! Sorry for the letdown 🙈
A solid color fabric may look too much like a bridesmaid dress?
Very likely! It also depends on the fabric quality I assume, but you’re right
I like your version better. I think yours is more wearable.
Thank you so much 🥰

Awww, thanks! I'll take that comparison.
