The Predator is a stalker who stalks and eventually catches his victim and does bad things to her. What is a bridge doing in the song? What is a bridge? A bridge is a connection. The stalker feels a connection to his victim. And when that victim cries out for help, he destroys that connection. She destroys this bridge. The perpetrator doesn't want that, because he wants to continue having fun.
The bridge also connects two sides which are apart from each other. The one side is his rational thinking side and the other is the extreme side which only follows his instincts, just like a predator. He only can think rationally, when there is a connection between them. When he is catching her, this „bridge“ is already burning. If she starts screaming now, the rational thinking side can’t be reached anymore.

I know you are american and prefer probably concerts in America and MSG, but please sometimes look for newer versions of their live performances especially somewhere in Europe - they have so much more Pyro going on there. Sonne 2019 - 2024 somewhere in Europe will blow your mind when it comes to fire.
