But what shocks me is the fact that many things are kept silent about. That a lot of things remain without consequences because ignorant people are of the opinion: "...that's taboo, you don't talk about things like that", or even deny it. As a result, many victims, who already have a hard enough time, become especially don't dare to talk about it, report it or ask for help. What drives me crazy are these mindless critics who spread prejudices and judge something without having any idea what it's all about A sentence or a few words of the song's lyrics are enough to call for a witch hunt. This song is one of the best examples of this. The story of a 17-year-old girl is, among other things, something that very few people even know about. Abused by a family member from the age of 6 until she was 11 or 12 and therefore, I think, uninteresting to her tormentor. She was already a big fan of Rammstein when she heard this song for the first time. She was astonished and pleased that a band would release such a song with such lyrics, so much so that she finally had the courage to report on her fate. The result was that she found the help she needed to process everything to some extent and was able to start a more or less normal life. She summarized her life and suffering in a letter and sent it to Rammstein as a huge thank you and let the band know that they had saved her life. Til reported on it, with the girl's consent, and tearfully said that stories like this and similar ones are why Rammstein does what they do. I already understood Rammstein, but when I found out about it, it hit me a notch higher. I think far too few people still know about it. That's why I thought it would only be right if I shared this with others who are willing to understand Rammstein better. And with that I say goodbye and wish you a peaceful weekend.

the double meanings in the lyrics are a hangover from their younger days growing up in the former East Germany where all artists had to submit thier lyrics so one, they weren't talking the p outa the state and second get the permit to perform where they then go and peform their own lyrics, lol

German Bands are not so much a part of it and certainly not when they sing in German! But Rammstein is really an exception for me in several respects!
