Growing up in New York, we considered summer to be from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Now, living in Arizona, we still have 4 seasons:
1. Not so hot
2. Hot
3. Extremely Hot, and…..
4. Just kill me now!😂😂
Right now I’m experiencing allergies for the first time in my life! Can’t smell a thing! No point in wasting my fragrances..😢
I have 3 Montale fragrances (Sweet Vanilla, Vanilla Cake, and Rose Elixir) and 1 Mancera, (Roses Vanille.) I also have travel sprays of Vanilla Absolu, Intense Cafe, and Coco Vanille. They all smell the same. There is some synthetic note in the base of all the fragrances from both houses that I don’t like. It ruins the fragrance for me. I know these are ‘sister’ houses. Something in the DNA turns me off. The first burst is beautiful though….😢

P.S. I’ve found that perfume oil versions of the Montale and Mancera don’t have that smell. Yay!

I absolutely Love TF "Soliel Blanc" but it's a bit too musky after the 3rd hour of wear.. it's too bad it dosen't "soften up" a bit more after the 3 hour mark instead of keeping that strong muskiness. That's my only complaint about the fragrance.

I just got BoraBora and I'm loving it! 🥰 it reminds me A LOT of Lush Vanillary. It's just a more refined version I'd say. Both are great.

I am not a huge floral person tbh... but it smells like a beautiful jasmine (maybe some yellow florals too), but with a vanilla/coconutty **almost gourmand** twist to it... a blind buy success! 🙌🙌 ...the first time I smelled it, it really did remind me SO MUCH Lush Vanillary, which mainly smells like heady jasmine & vanilla essential oils... BoraBora has to be 1 of my favorite floral fragrances, probably thanks to supporting notes.

I know the calendar dates of summer, but both my parents were teachers so I will always have the school year as my definition. Recently moved from The Far North to California and am definitely in lighter fragrance mode in these 100 degree days, but do wear my "warm and cozies" to bed still. On the topic of Mandarine Basilic, i wear the original in the daytime and then after it cools down in the evenings, add a spritz of the Forte. I really enjoy them both - but it's Terracotta for the win in my book!

You made it though a good number of fragrances over the Summer months. Especially because you spend time testing things out too. I was so curious to see what would come out on top for you. Some I could guess and some were total surprises. I love hearing about what got worn the most from a large collection, because I find it telling about what is genuinely loved. At least for that period of time.

I live in Canada so my Summer begins and ends when I want it to! I love wearing lighter scents in the heat but I will wear a lot of tropical scents in the dead of winter. I will deliberately conjure up a vacation state of mind. Arethusia is a perfect example of something that wears well all year round and can give you a warmer weather feel. One of my favourite warm weather scents is Alghabra’s “From the Heart”. It’s uplifting and although I’ll wear it all year round it gives me a lighter feel when the heat is wearing me down. Love your top ten lists.

We had a family get together today close to Mont-Tremblant and temperatures were at around 68 degrees, cloudy and windy... Everyone was wearing a jacket. So Fall feels like it's already kind of here... 😭 (Gave away some decluttered fragrances to my nieces.) Got complimented by my cousin on Cruz del Sur II. 😁
Terracotta is soooo gooood... I liked Lust for Sun as a more floral fresh coconut and Alien Goddess Intense for a heady jasmin and coconut. I think I prefer Dolce Garden in the Spring... It packs quite a punch when I wear it in the sun and heat.
Freshies: Améthyste l'Éclat, Blue Wisteria, Un Jardin sur le Toît, White Musk (and the new one from Body Shop).
Others: Dama Bianca, Vele, Cruz del Sur II, Pas ce Soir, La Belle Fleur Terrible, La Dompteuse Encagée, Gardenia Cardamom.

I can't stop smelling myself when I wear it. Rappin Duke took me way back. I was going to bust a move and my knee said "not today"😅. Now that song will forever play in my head when I see that fragrance ❤

Hi Veronica, i tested Mandarin Basilic both side by side. MB is freshier, i can pick up more notes which are in fragrance. In my opinion for hot summer is better than MBF -is richier and all ingrediences are in really nice sweater and dence cloud. But maybe somebody is reaching right for this character...

End of summer is school time for a lot of people. People who go by the solstices and equinoxes will say end of September. Me? I go by temperature and growing seasons. New Englander here and our late summer flowers have been out for a week. We won't get fall till, I'm guessing, late October. We're still getting 80 degree days and high 60s nights.

My most worn fragrances this past 3 months are Kind Intentions by Navitus ( collaboration with Paulina Schar), Delina La Rosee, Flamenco (of course), Florabotanica, and my Aguas Frescas from Adolfo Dominquez. Almost forgot Sunscape by Pearlescent!

My frame of reference for seasons vary because I’ve lived in so many different climates but I always default to June through Labor Day as that was what we followed growing up in PA. Have I ever told you your giggle tickles me? Not a bottle suffering from a long night? 😂😂😂 Great summer picks. I used my TF Soliel Blanc body oil all summer because it pairs so well with everything. I do tend to lean on my citrus scents more in summer but it’s been so hot this year I relied more on oils, lotions and potions because everything just seemed cloying to me. For instance I suddenly hated tiare flower?! I’m not sure if it was my allergies or just the heat.🤷🏽♀️ Great video as always and I enjoyed it per usual. Now, I’m ready for fall and some cool weather.

Sometimes, when I'm editing, I wonder what I found so funny. 🤷♀️ Couldn't tell you, but I rather be joyful than too serious, right? About tiare flower - you're not alone! Isn't is weird how we grow in and out of love with certain notes or accords from season to season and year to year? That's why the fragrance hobby keeps me on my toes! You never know. I own the Dua of Oud Jaune Intense and I enjoy it for summer but to my nose it was so synthetic but I have learned to appreciate it :)
I can understand. It's very close to the original, but the original is smoother and doesn't have that Dua DNA thing, you know? But that's a good dupe.

I’ve tried Mandarine Basilic Forte and, while I enjoy it, I find it is more similar to Orange Soleia in the same line - which I already own.
Since you are fond of basil, you might also like Chanel Paris-Deauville, a beautiful summer fragrance - with abysmal longevity 😢. 👋

I love D&G Garden! Such a good coconut fragrance! And I got it for only like $40 or so? I am on a coconut perfume kick! DUA Coconut Milk Magic is also really nice! It has an addictive woody (maybe oud?) note in it. I do wish it was stronger though. I always want all of my fragrances to be beast-mode projection though 😩 I'm an animal 😆

I take 2 Needles a week for it, but the bottles I have open I just leave them open so I am using a lot of the same fragrances all the time. Summer may officially end at Labor Day.. but as long as it's still 72+ degrees outside than it's warm enough to wear spring/summer fragrances. It dosen't even drop below 70 degrees(during the day) (anywhere in the United States) until October 1st. 🏝🏖🌋

They are both lovely! If I could only choose one, I'd get Malibu. Both has strong lime and coconut, but Malibu has a hint of sweetness and woodiness that makes it ever so slightly more appealing to me. 👍👍👍

I have never shopped from JomaShop but I have read negative reviews. Please tell us about your experience with them. Have you had any issues? Was everything you purchased legitimate & fully filled? I see they have very good prices. I am loving DG Garden, Mugler Eau Crosciere, Mancera Cocoa Vanille, & Holidays& Guerlain Nettare di Sole. Recently purchased Olympea, (guess I was late to the game with it) as I really enjoy it. I live in a year round warm climate so I'm always into the tropical notes.😊
Hi and welcome to the channel! 🥰 You are never late to the fragrance game - if it's good, it endures through the trends! Regarding Jomashop, I shop with them literally every month. The key is to see whether the fragrance is in stock or will take time to ship (tells you on the listing). Some people get disappointed with long shipping waits but the site tells you how long it will take for the item to ship. Jomashop maintains a warehouse but also has an extensive partner network to source their fragrances. So, for the low prices they offer, it's worth it to me to wait sometimes. Other times, the item ships the next day if it's in their warehouse. I've received nothing but authentic products - they are guaranteed. Sometimes people claim they received a fake when in reality they have no idea what they're talking about or looking at but they tell a convincing story. 😒 I always take those claims with a grain of salt. Hope this helps.

I would love to know your thoughts on Cruz Del Sur II VS. Mango Kiss!? I recently sampled God Of Fire. And it did not live up to any hype. I found it kind of generic, like I've smelled it before (for less) and the mango didn't last long... but I did also sample CDS-II and really enjoyed it. Wondering how Mango Kiss is though, before I go looking for a bottle of CDS-II. 🤔
Cruz del Sur II was sort of nauseating for me; however, I'd like to try it again as my tastes have changed the past few years. I had the same reaction as you to God of Fire - very nice but I was hoping the mango would last longer. Mango Kiss is more of an interpretationof mango rather than a realistic note, but oh my - what a luscious powerhouse of a fragrance. Test first - some people HATE IT!
@@VeronicaSays yea I will say - the first time I tried CDS-II - I was like wtf is this sh!t!? 😂😂😂 I didn't get the hype at all... but then last night actually I tried it for the 2nd time and thought "ohhh ok" .. I get the juicy bright mango 🥭 that stays with it for the duration, and as it wears it gets more creamy on me. I love a lactonic/creamy fragrance. And it just smelled good to me. BUT. BUTTT... is it REALLY the best creamy mango fragrance out there? I dunno. ?? I did also test DUA Mango Lassi and that smells like weed+mango lol not my jam. Plus it has a touch of that weird thick oily DUA note in it which makes it an immediate NO 🤢 👎 That notes drives me crazy - how they are charging $60/1 FL OZ for fragrances that smell so rank... but then I find some of their fragrances are so damn good so I keep trying them lol🤦♀️ smh. The struggle is real.
Madonna took Fracas out the to club to try to squash it’s beef with Truth or Dare. They made peace but then Fracas got really paranoid after doing some weed with Madonna in the bathroom unbeknownst to them was laced with pcp. She ended the night throwing a drink on Truth or Dare, calling her an unoriginal “witch” and stumbling back to your closet. Shhhh. 😂

I wanted it to be a beast-mode Mancera - maybe even syrupy sweet coconut 🥥 --> but it's fresher than I thought. I ended up getting a Middle Eastern dupe of it and it is a lil stronger to my nose 🤷♀️ ... and it smells the EXACT same too. But now I'm still on the hunt for more STRONG 💪 Coconuts. I can't get enough 😩

It's summer for me until September 23rd. My spring and summer fragrances are my favorite, so I start spring as early as possible and extend summer as long as possible. But I live in the northern U.S. and winter is long and gloomy.
