Glad that you're feeling better Sarah. Thanks for taking us out to see the dam. That emerald green water looked inviting, but it's probably ice water. Hope that you and Lil one are staying safe and keeping warm at night. 😊

Parker was the top place to go to for the kids from Southern California back in the 70's. I was there memorial weekend in 1977 and camp sites that never ever filled, filled up that weekend. It was one big party with tons people everywhere, Peter Frampton music blasting everywhere ("Do you feel like I do"), people dying on the highway from drunk (drug) driving, what a crazy weekend.

Reservoir looks full. Must have drained all the water out of Lakes Mead and Powell. Back in the ‘70s we spent many fun weekends on the lake here. Best weekend ever was the long weekend I spent with my boat and most of the class of dental hygienists from LLUSD! No sponsors either! 😁👌

I am glad you are well again. I had contemplated coming up to Quartzsite to meet you, but honestly I couldn't bring myself to be a part of that sea of humanity, even for one night. That had to be insanely tough for you to stay that long, but at least you had some friends for support. You are on a mission and I respect that! Hopefully I can get to meet you one day and maybe do a campout. I sure am not surprised that you got out of there for awhile to get to feeling better. I am not really impressed with the Green Monster, but I do like Fraggle Rock over near Lordsburg. It is lower key and makes me smile when I drive by it. In general, I don't like tagging away from urban areas, and especially in special places. Beautiful country in this video! Thanks for posting. You rock!
