💞💞🤗🤗💋💋Went to school at UC Santa Cruz and used to run among the redwood trees. School mascot was banana slug a bright yellow upto 9 inches slug that comes out from the redwood trees during heavy rains.
@@claytonbrown8231 Sarah could probably outrun a banana slug. John Travolta in Pulp Fiction LOL
that water tastes divine. enjoy experiencing the woods thru a desert dwellers eyes
That cluster of redwoods is called a fairy circle.
the middle is where a huge tree was
Remember, many ticks, many animals. Beautiful place.
What an amazing place
I’m a native Californian and I love it!
Thanks, Sarah!!
Bucky ,Bambi , n Yogi must've been nappin
Absolutely beautiful and thank you for sharing it with us Sarah
"Me and probably thousands of ticks", lol! Grew up in the forest in north Idaho and during tick season my dad would hold the lit end of a cigarette close to their butts and they would back out. One of us kids or the dogs would get ticks pretty often it seemed.
HI Sarah, that's what I am use to it's beautiful isn't it. Have fun and enjoy your day. May God bless you and your family and friends. That's God's country and his handy work, he's wonderful artist.
Those trees and creek! So beautiful and peaceful. Thanks for sharing with us! 💗
I love the redwoods
Your videos have been more inspiring lately. Keep up the great work and enjoy your wellness and health.
Thanks Jeepsy
This was beautiful to watch❗️Thanks for sharing Sarah… 👏🏼🤍
Entire forest was clear cut up to 100 years ago. You got some great views of the 2nd growth redwoods that sprouted up around the stumps. Amazing growth considering most of these trees are only 100 years old.
So beautiful, I have grown up in these redwoods my whole life 51 years, so peaceful and yes Bigfoot exists and lives here. I have so many stories about these woods
Sarah this is the nature I love. The redwood trees are awesome. I love nature but a forest is best for me. I had a good laugh when you mentioned Tics. My old camping buddy used to call them ticky tockys ❤😂🎸
How beautiful. I've always dreamed of seeing the redwood forests thanks for sharing. It has to feel like a cathedral and so spiritual. Natures church literally.
Seeing the Redwood forest has been on my bucket list. I’m jealous. But thank you for showing us and sharing them.
Love the Redwoods, been there many times. So gorgeous! Just make sure to super check yourself and Lil’ One for ticks. Especially the nymphs. Got bit by a Lyme tick there. Luckily, I saved it and got treatment quickly.
You look so happy and relaxed and refreshed in this video, I wish I was down by the water with lunch and a good book - being there would for sure make a person fall in love with nature and its beauty
Hello wonderful Sara I sure like you a lot. Nature is a healing of the soul always be thinking of you Gary.
I've been there half a dozen times. Northern California is quite similar to the Pacific Northwest states of Washington and Oregon.
I've seen an albino white redwood tree. That was cool
Oh wow!
Ooo what a beautiful place, wish I was there!
❤ nature is great I am currently boondocking off grid in Silverton Colorado in the forest using solar and starlink just so I can watch your videos LOL I really enjoy your content and I hope your buddy feels better
Thank you!
Sometimes I feel like I live the most boring life of all. I believe I have had an interesting life though. Yet it was not fulfilling. Everything you do as you travel and visit is so fulfilling and satisfying to the heart and mind and soul .. and it's also a grand way to experience freedom .. I really love watching you and all your videos and little one. And I can set and listen to you talk for hours period without interjecting a thing. I hope you realize how special you are to yourself and to others .. and you were named proper because you are a princess in my mind eyes and heart.❤❤
The trees are beautiful!🌳🥰👏🏼🇨🇦
-> Love 'em trees, Too!! All kinds of trees, I love!! 🌲🌳🌴🌵 Planted my little potted Christmas tree & it's over 20' high now!! ☺️ I don't like when people cut down trees, BTW.. & Those ferns are always so beautiful.. Gorgeous scenery!! We were there just a few years ago, at Sequoia.. Divine Angelic Safeguarding, Healings, Good Health, Perfect Peace, & Many Abundant, Bountiful Blessings, ALL!! 😻🙇🏻♀️🙏🏼🕊️👼🏻🌄🌞🌇
How about the sequoia trees. Need to check out Santa Cruz it's right on the ocean.
My Hero's Have Always Been Highways Have Fun
I think those little tree huts and for the Gnomes, Sarah!
It’s a beautiful forest. I was lucky to have been stationed there (on the east side of the park) as a Medic/Firefighter with CalFire through the 80’s & 90’s.
Watch out for Bigfoot
I sow bear in His trucks so look out for 🐻 & bigfoot 😊
12" is big and a foot. That's why they call him Bigfoot. 😂
Thank you for the tour sarah, ive never been there, been close feels like a nice quiet spot glad you got to check it out!❤
Muir woods in Marin is pretty awsome for large redwoods too.
Your the best. You go girl...
Nisene Marks was my old stomping grounds as I grew up in Aptos. I camped in that area for a week in the spring', but didn't get any ticks on me until I camped in California's central valley on my way home to Nevada. I was picking them off me and my dog for three days. I don't go into Nisene Marks anymore since they started charging and it got so crowded. Check out Mt. Madonna County Park if your still in the area. There are some cool ruins up there and I didn't get any ticks up there either.
Beautiful 😊
I'm so tired of politics right now your channel is just what I needed. Thank you so much.
They…(scientists) say that all the trees in the Redwood forest are linked as one organism…..pretty cool when you think about it……..just gorgeous! ❤️❤️
Aww yes, I just love those in the woods alone hikes away from the crowds as well! The sounds of the wind and the flowing of the creeks. That's my kind of place to be away from the concrete jungle!! And your right those ticks can be terrible and that's why I'm not on "tick-toc"!! 😂 So when you saw something rustling through the trees, I thought it may have been Susquatch or Big Foot!!😂 But yup it's your spirit animal instead!!
Thank you for the awesome hike!!
There is a REDWOOD PARK in Surrey BC Canada---a bunch of Redwood trees were planted a hundred years ago by some naturalists it now has many trails and one tree that got a lot of sun in an open area... it is huge
Good video!! Like that creek bottom!
I'm in N. California and been in this spot. Very beautiful!!
Beautiful area
Bucket list! Thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤
Those are called sucker trees...they grow from the roots of the old tree. Great video. I have been there in the early 70s

So Peaceful and Serene!! I hope your friend saw this video and the last one at the ocean by his house, very tranquil and calming medicine for the soul
He watches all my videos 🙂💜
I love the redwood coast. Jedia Smith redwood camp ground is my favorite place to go and late in the year the tide pools are so amazing.

Beautiful place. There is something so humbling yet uplifting about being out in the forest. I grew up in it and still love it whenever I get a chance. Cheers from Alaska
Wildlife includes keeblers,Ewoks and deer 🦌 for sure.😁
What a nice jem you found Sarah. Now I want to go to my 2 jems I love staying at to get away from civilization. There is one more that I need to go check out before winter hits and will let you know how it is. Safe travels for you and little one 😊
Nature does the body good 😊

Saw you saw a Bambi 🦌💞 I love ducks as I’m living in the UK. I love dipping my feet in Creeks or Rivers as we call them and lakes. Ticks yeah you did the ticks scan 👍
Nice and peaceful
Be sure to check your scalp and hair for ticks........🥴
This is a great video. What wonders those trees have seen and will see before they replenish the soil.
Thanks for sharing this it brings back great memories of a trip my mom and I took. 💖🤗🙏💪🚁
Lovely 🙏🥰🇨🇦
in S.E. KS at my creek , hopin to finally meet you at Jay OK
You should find some of the old growth redwood even more impressive
keep an eye out for wyknox in the woods now !
Its so beautiful there. I was born in Northern California so I've been in the forest a few times and my aunt had property that backed right up to the Sequoia national Forest and we would go through the barbwire fence and play back there and we would see banana slugs, and creeks and it was so green and dark in there it was just like a wonderland. So glad to see this video. Brings back memories. Now Im in New Mexico. Take care on you upcoming journey.
So beautiful and serene. ❤
Don’t forget you and little one as part of nature! Too bad about the ticks. Do we really need so many bugs on Earth?
You missed the ghosts and a few big foots.
Hi Sarah & lil one, u know them ticks can fall out of the trees. I do not like ticks. Take care 👍✌️
Wow you are so lucky, that was beautiful 😊
I love trees, thanks for sharing these ❣️
Lots bears and in 1969 42 of us swore we saw a big foot
I FINALLY got my van fixed and was able to get out of the heat of Phoenix! I, too, got to actually walk in a forest FINALLY after about a year...yes, a year...it's been rough this year financially so getting away from Phoenix was impossible but I fully enjoyed my escape to Sedona, Flagstaff and Payson...I hope to be doing many more weekend escapes in my van (now I gotta find another job since my W2 ended tho)...gotta make money in order to make trips!
Did you drive "Avenue of the Giants" in Humboldt County?
👍🐾
Tease your right My neighborhood Soquel (between Aptos and Santa Cruz).. The ticks aren't as bad at this time of year compared to spring. You should check out the Buddha retreat in Soquel there's plenty of good hiking trails. Waddell Creek just north of Santa Cruz & Davenport, also has real cool trails. I don't know if you read your comments?
I meant jeez you're right in my neighborhood not tease
Thank you! And of course I read ALL my comments 🙂
Did you see the cougar in the brush along that one trail?😮
Kidding 😂😂
😀😃😄
Wow you take care we don't want you eaten by wild creatures who would look after the little one ?
good stuff
You know of Julia butterfly hill? If you don't you need to
❤👍🏾
Hi Sarah , maybe get some bear spray and put it on a belt and put it on, that way if you do come across a bear or a person , your ready for both.😀
lol we found it
You want to see some real nice big trees go to Oregon
looks like a pretty large area😂 at jay
I'm where to rivers meet..have a great day
