That was SUCH an incredible show. The music is the stuff you can play on repeat and it was so well cast. Miss it but I'm glad it didn't run itself into the ground.
Such an underrated bop!
Oliver Queen's father (from Arrow) is reviewing a show produced by Joe West (Flash) and written by Winn Schott (Supergirl) and the Pied Piper (Flash).

The show Smash is on Peacock. This is the second season
I had totally forgotten how unimpressive and poppy Katherine McPhee's voice is. The irony is that her real-life career and talents mirror the trajectory of the song; "Smash" was her own attempt to reinvent herself. She's exactly what she's mocking, and that takes this number into meta levels of self-shade.
It’s just “who said” by Hannah Montana.
Rather see her as the elegant performer that she is. Don’t step down McPhee to become a teenager.
This was an opportunity and she was paying her dues. Its impressive just a different genre and it works for the show.
Sorry to hear sing this type of music. Goback to Over the rainbow type
Thanks
