Roserade, Ferrothorn, Whimsicott, Breloom and Tangrowth have always been consistently amazing at what they do: I seriously love the Grass type, and these three are a huge reason why
Has to be Tsareena, it was one of my powerhouses on my Pokemon Sword team. Unrivaled power, solid defense, only her speed was lacking but Rapid Spin took care of that. Not many Grass types can boast such a solid moveset and stats. It doesn't hurt that she's hot too. Gamefreak knew exactly what they were doing.
not only that but it could be a menace in doubles (like series 10: nearly 13% usage). Great ability (Queenly Majesty), good bulk, good moveset and utility, and the speed as you said could be compensated (also through Trick Room). One of my fav grass types for sure as well
@@swaggervgc Oh yes, Queenly Majesty shuts down priority moves outright and Priority Z-Moves are nerfed. I actually hadn't considered Trick Room but that's a very good alternative to Rapid Spin (which can also deal with hazards like Stealth Rock and the like). Triple Axel also makes short work of Flying and Dragon Types that otherwise threaten Tsareena and gives it a way to deal with fellow Grass types.
I love her but she never got past uu, her speed hurts too much any set that is not bulky. I played radiant emerald and she smashed through anything with her secondary fighting type exclusive to that game.
Decidueye isn't part of my list, cause I don't think it's as good as people say it is. Also my Grass list has Venusaur at number 1, with Roserade pretty high at number 3 and there being some different Grass type Pokemon, like Gogoat, cause I feel the Goat is actually pretty good, cause of it's abilities being solid and it's got pretty good stats outside of Physical Defense and Speed. Sure pure Grass is not great on it's own, but Gogoat is able to handle it's weaknesses better than people think. Then again, I did each of my lists differently from yours, including going over Pokemon overall along with no repeats for Pokemon cause of me feeling that it's unfair to go over Pokemon twice. I also originally had Tsareena on the list, but then changed the list a little to having Hisuian Electrode.
